What is the significance of this? Does it mean I owe reparations for things I didn't do? Am I supposed to feel guilty? Aren't there also some advantages associated with certain minorities? It seems to me that this concept just perpetuates racial divisions.

Maybe when you’re younger the girl worker says what a cute kid and look at his eyes maybe you’ll get a free ice cream cone or if you don’t like something maybe you’ll get a replacement or your money back from the working girl but when it comes to saving your house or other serious issues, I don’t care what you look like or what race you are business is business for them although when I was in my 20s, this supervisor guy was given a choice who was going to stay inside to work that night or outside to work and they put the other guy with the other race outside and kept me inside The other guy complained about it I was happy. I dislike the term "privilege" because it implies getting something undeserved. Rather I think there are a lot of situations where nonwhites are NOT getting what everyone deserves.
Fair treatment is not a "privilege" it should be an expectation for everyone.

I think it's an advantage in many parts of the world. For many white people in the US, it's just the advantage of our ancestors being able to accumulate wealth while blacks were prevented from doing so.
