My parents were ill equipped to look after me or my elder brother.

Should she have made better decisions which would have perhaps lead to me not being born? Yes, probably.

As things worked out, I landed on my feet and have been a capable contributor to my country throughout my adult life.

But you never know what could have been. Maybe my replacement would have been awesome.

I don't think my mother knew how to have a child when I was born but I still don't want to be aborted.

This world sucks but without pain, there wouldn't be joy either.

This is why we live in a cycle of good and bad times. When times are good, we become vulnerable to those who want to ruin it, the ruining becomes successful and people suffer, those who want the suffering to end will fight back and hopefully restore the good times but usually isn't successful.

Yes for every reason except one. I should have died 13 month old and and again at 2 years old. I should at least be braindead (almost) and paralyzed but im not at all. So I think I still have a reason to be here

To save myself mental suffering, yes I would have. The fact that I'm in a better place now doesn't mean that what went before was okay. Some people shouldn't have children.
