Why do women think feelings are more important than facts?

U always hear women complain about the fact that they feel unsafe leaving their house at night. They use this as to inwoke pity in you and make them win the argument about how oppressed women are in modern society.

But if u look at statistics it becomes a mute point since men are much much more likely to encounter a bad situation when leaving their house. But men do not care. But since women care about it a lot it becomes as bad or way worse.

Hence my question: Should we allow women to put their feefes over facts.

They dont think but are domesticated by the modern media environment

They dont care about the facts

They mostly dont care about the facts

They will always argue in their favour no matter the situation

For want of a better analogy Women's operating system is driven by emotions/feelings which heighten responses to what they see in the Main Stream Media, which tends to focus on bad news, with little if any good news, It doesn't help that anything on Main Stream Media is slanted one way or another politically, which results in a distorted picture of the world which women consider to be the TRUTH even when it bares no relationship to what actually going on, for instance during the C19 outbreak CNN put a 'Death Counter' on the screen 24/7 which made the outbreak seem more dangerous than it actually was because deaths were being reported as a C19 death up to 28 days of a person being a C19 contact, even if the death was a result of the person falling down stairs, being run down by a bus, a heart attack, the list is endless but the were all reported as a C19 death which CNN added to their 'Death Counter', its all a matter of perspective, which in women has a huge emotional component.

Especially low marriage value men (men who don't marry as virgins) . I can see what you are trying to say here and I partly agree that sometimes feelings get in the way of logic and I'm sure it probably is more likely for a man to be in a bad situation than a woman as some stated. But one thing you are missing whether it's male or female it does not matter because if someone is scared and has feelings of being unsafe their feeling are VALID to them no matter what. I think she means that the feeling comes from you so you agree with it. Even if it’s nots true or your not sure if it’s true you at least agree with the utility of it. For example thinking your a 10/10 might not be true but it’s utility could be confidence. Or fearing what’s outside may or may not be true but it will help you stay alert and keep you safe.

Whereas women are always overpowered in terms of physical strength, the type of “attack” are also usually different with women. Looking for a solution by speaking out doesn’t equate to looking for pity tho. I personally feel unsafe walking alone at night but I still do it anyway, I also talk about my concerns about feeling unsafe with my boyfriend but I’m not expecting him to feel sorry for me or go out of his way to drive me home. I’m just stating facts, it’s valid for people to have a fear of being attacked bcs of how unsafe the world has become for both guys and girls.

I guess guys doesn’t talk about their fear as much probably bcs guys are expected to be tough. Some guys even get made fun of for simply saying that he’s scared that he might get jumped while walking alone at night. Might explain why men appear to “not care” bcs society expects them to. Actually men accounts for about 90% of murder perpetrators. I think in the US tho you’re right, more men are killed by other men. In other countries, like in Asia for example, more of the victims were women. I live in an Asian country and it is definitely more unsafe for women to be out alone especially at night, it’s somewhat “normalized” for a group of guys to molest and harass girls as a joke.

I think it would be too impractical to ask my boyfriend to drive me home tho lol I work on the opposite end of the city (about 1 hr drive from where he lives) so it’ll be too much of a hassle. He does sometime pick me up which I greatly appreciate!

Harassment and molestations are sadly pretty normalized here tho. I got groped, catcalled, stalked and had some old guy put his hand inside my panties while I was wearing a dress and people around me just brushed it off as “it happens”. I even told my parents and friends (both male and female) about it and they just shrugged it off as being “one of the dreadful parts of using public transport”. And if I go to the police about it they’ll just laugh it off lol I’ve had that happen to friends. It’s the reality in some cultures I guess.

I mean based off that example I am a lot more nervous going out at night than my boyfriend is. I’ve gotten approached more than he has in those situations (he is generally ignored) and one was dangerous for me which ended me walking alone at night lol.
