That's a different topic, but I agree with you. The Afghan war lasted for 20 years. If you were a young father and chose to work there, you might decide to bring your family with you. They would be safe living in American compounds. You could watch your children grow up, and they would get a good education. (I'm talking about plumbers, carpenters, engineers... etc)

But to your point, I agree. We have 750 US bases around the world. Bring them all home. Our guys in Syria and Lebanon are being killed by Iranian missiles. Fuck that. Let the rest of the world fend for themselves. I wouldn't have given one penny to Ukraine.
