A lot of people say the United States, specifically the US government, is bad and does a lot of bad things. And while I don't necessarily disagree, my question regarding this is, who would you rather have as the de-facto only Superpower in the world? The country that essentially owns the rest of the world.
If not the US being the superpower and "ruler" of the world, who exactly do you think would be better?
China? Do you think they'd be better? They slaughter their own people and most of the 1.3+ billion Chinese citizens despise the CCP. They just do it in secret.
India? India is a disaster right now, both economically and health wise. They need to take care of their own country a lot better first.
Europe/the EU? The EU is so bad, England left them and has been better off since.
Some wildcard socialist hellhole like Sweden? You really want limp-wristed soy beta males and bitter feminists running the world?
So while I'll be the first to admit the US government and many of its former presidents, from Clinton, to Dubya, to Obama, and especially Biden, have done some really shady sh*t, I look at them as the least aggressive, least "evil" ones to be in charge of the civilized world. I think the US is literally the best country to be the most powerful, even if the government has failed its citizens time and time again. At least, we can vote in new presidents and hope for change (albeit with very little real world probability of success), unlike self-appointed dictators-for-life like Xi Jinping.
If you can name me ONE actual, legit, better county to be the global superpower and dominant force of the civilized world, I'm all ears. (And no, you can't say Wakanda. Wakanda ain't real.)
