I have before for work actually. had to get a sample of some then unknown biological matter found by a dive drone. team was looking rare ores in a large underwater cave. only a handful of labs were within distance of the area so government sent the suits to pick me up and bring me over as I have a masters in diving, cave diving. it is very dangerous and way more safety rules for cave diving. even more so when it involves unknown biological matter. anyway had to go down with a small team. I was the labcoat. they also sent 2 armed personnel and a tech specialist to monitor cams and audio for the surrounding area. extracted my sample and was not allowed to go back to my lab with it had to go to the cdc labs as it was a "you can't share any information on what this is or where we got it" moments. not a common occurrence I get dragged out for a cave diving problem but have had several other things that I have had to do.

i was a military diver and military freefall (skydiver) for years and a safety officer in just about every unit i was in. i've done a LOT of highly dangerous stuff, very safely. there is NO WAY i would ever cave dive.

my only guess would be inexperience. the hope of there being room on the other side to breathe, just because ur curious. i'm not claustrophobic but i also will not fold myself up and stuff myself in a box.

As I recall, Nutty Putty is a dry cave? But no, I would not go cave diving. It's just too easy for things to go extremely wrong.
