Democrat politicians live in walled communities, drive huge SUVs and have armed bodyguards. So why do they want to take away our walls, SUVs and guns?

I never really understood this kind of argument. Even if it is true, which I do not care to debate, that is irrelevant. Politicians are the peoples representatives, their job is to represent the will of the people. We do not elect politicians because their beliefs and whatnot is good, we elect them because they are supposed to do what we want.

As such I do not particularly care how they live their life as long as they literally do their one job. They themselves are completely inconsequential as people and functions as a cog in the machinery of government.

Just because politicians presents themselves as people for the popularity contest AKA elections that does not mean it has much to do with their role as a representative. I guess republicans are still mentally stuck in the era of monarchs and nobles where the people above you control the country according to their own whims and wishes rather than what is actually supposed to happen in a democracy where they are just an extension of the will of the people.

the hypocrisy among democrats is infinity noticed how back in 2020 they cheered on BLM and Antifa for rioting and looting nonstop after that George Floyd incident.

So very true. When the BLM/Antifa communists burned down a federal courthouse during those "mostly peaceful" riots for months on end from coast to coast, caused billions of dollars in damage, destroyed countless small minority businesses, and murdered and seriously injured dozens of people (the only person murdered on Jan 6 was one of the protesters, a veteran who was shot by a cop while not doing anything wrong)... the Democrats were completely silent about it as if nothing happened.

isn't also very ironic how democrats also claim we republicans are violent assholes just because we support (and mostly own) guns. yet they themselves have caused more violence during their protests and riots than we ever have with our guns.

in other words they shouldn't be talking about being violent as they've caused more chaos and have ended more lives than we ever have with our guns
