As much as I hate to say it he’s free to have an opinion. Just as I’m free to ignore his opinion. I’d say just let him ramble on, unless it comes to the point of threatening you physically. By reacting, especially in an intense, emotional manner you’re fueling the fire. I on the other hand would probably fuel that fire by making him mad. Example if he said all you Native Americans are alcoholics, to which I am a Native, I’d say something like only on weekends.

Racist guy treat him normal n fair to the best u capable of... don't be rude or Argue with him he has his reasons... you should have an open mind it's likely not his perminant or most desired attitude...

I wouldn't really interact with a person like that, but if I must I would try to keep it civil and brief. A lot of racist people I have come across tend to be very stubborn and refuse to listen to reason.
