"Transgender fighters meeting all of the necessary criteria will be permitted to fight in the gender category of their choice. The criteria include - declaring their new gender identity, completing gender reassignment surgery (bottom surgery) and undergo regular hormone testing. Transgender fighters must undergo quarterly hormone testing and provided USA Boxing with documentation of their hormone levels for a minimum of four years following surgery.

Boxers who have transitioned from male to female must demonstrate that their total testosterone level has been below 5 nmol/L for at least 48 months prior to her first competition. The total testosterone level must remain below 5 nmol/L throughout the period of desired eligibility to compete in the female category."

Anyway many people don’t like the idea and think sports should be separated by birth sex so I’m just going to follow this idea as well

Total testosterone doesn't mean much when >90% is bound by SHBG normally, they can simply plummet the SHBG and function as a man while not having high total T. Which is always going to be the case, if they underwent castration surgery 100% of their hormones need come from injections. 5 nmol/L is higher than what any woman has it peak at any point of their life, and these men will be sustaining this concentration 24/7. Fucking stupid.

A better option than "That is dumb", would be "That is wicked and immoral". No single-sex sport should EVER allow someone of the opposite sex to participate with the rest of the team. I'd love to see all team members boycott their participation in ANYTHING that has people of the improper sex on the team
