Would there be an election in 2024?

Would there be an election in 2024?

I don't think it'll come to civil war. First off this is a squabble between parties not states. But I fear that by denying Trump voters the right to vote for him if they choose. That the democrats are opening up a Pandora's box that they will not be able to close. 74 million voted for Trump in the last election. The capitol riot only had 2000 there. Regardless of the narrative the democrats are pushing the vast majority of Trump voters are peaceful. They're no less raucus then the left wing loons that took to blocking the freeways when Trump got elected the first time. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. Look, I don't care for Trump. But regardless of what you think of Him he has the right to run. You either trust the American people to do what's right for the country or you don't you don't see the Republicans trying to get anyone disqualified? Why because that's a move you make when you're desperate. Again, if you believe in America have faith in Americans to do what's best for America. And if you don't have faith in America maybe you shouldn't be trying to lead them.
That be fascinating scenario. ugh... probably not good honestly... we couldhave breakdown... whom would be on the ballot and survive it, what's the rules going forward?
We have to realize the Fed govt has too much power (has a long time now) and is what is making all this fictiious wealth possible by way of money printing, off balance sheet accounting, military spending, and debt (borrowing from the future). Collapse of that entity means we are all going to live off what we have after some great reset. That will be awful...
It might happen anyways at some point...
I'd be fine if one of the other candidates on both parties ran, could care less...
1. Biden won't be taken off any ballots.
2. The Republicans will go on FOX and claim it's unfair that Trump was taken off the ballots.
3. Joe will come down with a mysterious illness, and not run.
4. Gavin Newsom will be the next president.
5. Americans will learn to speak Mandarin.
6. Libtards from Europe will question their hatred for Trump.
7. Communism will give it another failed attempt.
Republicans are already starting taking Biden off Ballots
@888thegreat You missed out the word "unlawfully". And they're full of hot air, is all.
You're talking about Jay Ashcroft, Missouri’s secretary of state and 2024 gubernatorial candidate (another Republican running his own election) saying he'll "ensure the new legal standard for @RealDonaldTrump applies equally to @joebiden".
The standard is not "new", it's nearly 150 years old, and the standard is whether someone has "engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the [US], or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."
Applying it equally is no contest; Biden has done none of that, Trump has.
@goaded Biden has given aid and comfort to over ten million invaders. He is directly responsible for countless crimes, American deaths and the loss of almost a trillion taxpayer dollars. All could have been prevented but it was done purposely to destroy the whole country. I think that is a much bigger crime than a few broken windows.
@exitseven That's totally insane.
@goaded What part is not true? The number of invaders? The crime and deaths? How about how much money this is costing every one of us? I can find you a dozen videos of Biden inviting the invaders to come to America. I can show you how Biden and by extension his flunky Mayorkas has changed policies to go from the most secure border to the most porous. It would be a slam dunk if he did not control the DOJ.
@exitseven
I just got a notice that the Republicans are moving "swiftly" to impeach the border flunky. I sure hope so, but I wish he was thrown in prison for treason.
@exitseven
I didn't know it failed before.
DeSantis and Abbott need to keep sending thousands and thousands of illegals to DC and Delaware, and any other blue place.
@exitseven
Keep sending them to the vineyard! This fall the border will be a huge issue, and the Dems will have to defend the obvious invasion.
It's maddening that Trump fixed the border problem, and Biden broke it on day one.
@exitseven None of what you said is true. You can't find me "a dozen videos of Biden inviting the invaders to come to America", because it's never happened. Apart from anything else, immigrants and asylum seekers are not "invaders".
Republicans in Congress refused to increase funding for border security as Biden requested on day one of his presidency. They've done it often, and they've even been kind enough to explain why: "Let me tell you, I'm not willing to do too damn much right now to help a Democrat and to help Joe Biden's approval rating," Texas Rep. Troy Nehls.
You can't show me "countless crimes, American deaths", and maybe spending the few billion dollars the president asked for would have saved money in the long run.
A year ago, the president made a "request for an additional $3.5 billion to secure the border and funds for 2,000 new [asylum officers and personnel] and 100 new immigration judges so people don’t have to wait years to get their claims adjudicated, which they have a right to make a claim legally."
You can't legally throw asylum seekers out of the country without their cases being heard. Increase the number of judges, you increase the number of people you can deport.
They're deporting people at record rates, but you won't hear about that because you only listen to liars who also tell you that increased seizures of drugs is a failure of law enforcement, not a success.
@exitseven
Biden didn't cut the razor wire on the Texas border! Biden isn't suing Texas to get rid of the floating barriers on the Rio. Biden didn't cut giant holes in Trump's wall, so the Antelope could vacation in Mexico. Biden didn't fly illegals around the country in the dark of night. Biden didn't put illegals up in fancy hotels. Biden isn't allowing illegals to join our military.
It was all that Brandon guy!
@goaded Maybe if the money was going to finishing the wall and hiring agents that will prevent illegals from crossing they would have approved the spending but it was going to be for more agents to process illegals and then release them into the country with a court date that none will show up for. If Biden just left the border the way Trump fixed it we would have saved a half a trillion dollars last year and more than that in 2024.
@exitseven So Republicans refuse to fund the president to try things his way, then complain that it's it's his fault what he can't do is not working.
Ever heard of giving someone enough rope to hang themselves? Or respecting the president, for that matter?
The worst thing is that it would only take a couple of Republicans in the House to be responsible and allow government to function the way it should. They won't do that, in case it works and makes Democrats look good.
@goaded Bidens border policies have been a dismal failure since day 1. Republicans are demanding the border be closed and the current laws be enforced. Biden will continue to do the opposite and the more money he gets , the worse the problem will become. It is time for the adults in the room to put their foot down
@exitseven Which law do you think isn't being enforced on the southern border?
@exitseven
Now he's just trolling.
@exitseven Once they're in, they're there and have committed a crime, for which they can be tried. If there are enough judges to deal with them, which comes back to the funding Biden requested. As to fentanyl, do you think a president can simply wish away criminality? Of course the law is being enforced, there are tons being siezed every year.
If you won't accept anything but perfection from Biden, what's the point?
www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/drug-seizure-statistics
@milyjohn No, this is not what trolling looks like. This is what a conversation or discussion looks like.
@goaded the border is there for a reason it is against the law to unlawfully enter the United States. Democrats thy to sugarcoat it by calling them asylum seekers. The truth is that Democeats need more voters because they are bleeding voters from every demographic. They can import ten or 12 million illegal aliens, set them up with social security cards and drivers licenses and tell them if Trump is elected they will all be sent back.
@exitseven None of them can vote.
@goaded it didn't stop them in 2020. I live in a moonbat state. In 2022 the voters approved to give illegal aliens free drivers licenses. A few weeks before every election day the sec. Of state comes in TV urging people to vote. He says all you need to register is a driver's license. Can you connect the dots?
@exitseven I suppose it's too much to hope you looked up the facts about them? At least in California driving licences for undocumented people explicitly do not allow them to (register to) vote (or enter a federal building, etc.)
Since the past tense to repeat itself, I think the red and blue state will go their separate ways like when you had free states and slave states. I also think a war, or some sort of chaos will break out before the states separate.
very possible
oh that would be great to divide, but since California has eighth largest economy in the world (ranked alongside nations like Germany, Russia, &c.), who would run out of money first? A more appropriate split would be blue takes both east and west coast (since they have 80%+ of those states), and red takes the middle and southeast (check map up top). Of course, then the red states poor economic management and lack of education would really go downhill even faster.
@zeitgeist057 California also depends on Gov't funding. That would be tax dollars from the red states. California is like China in more than one way. Socialists with no freedom.
@zeitgeist057
Poor education in red states? The blue schools will teach pronouns, toxic masculinity, gender studies, and red schools can teach reading, writing, math and science.
@milyjohn Yes, poor education. Illiteracy (that's not being able to read and write) is higher in red states. Math and sciences scores are lower on average. So all those subjects you say they can teach, they should be already but are failing at it.
There's a couple statistical maps showing state by state higher education (college degrees). Darker states means higher percentage of people in that state have degrees. It doesn't match up exactly with the red/blue map, but there is a strong correlation. Along the west coast, north east coast, and notably, Colorado (the state the OP is about) are darkest. All five of the pale/least educated are "red states": KY, WV, AK, LA, MI.

Looking at a list of state rankings by educational attainment, we have to scroll down to #13 to find our first red state, Utah. That means almost half of the blue states have better educated population than the BEST educated red state. www.usnews.com/.../educational-attainment
As for accusations of suckling at the gov't teat, CA GDP for 2022 was 2.89 TRILLION, and you can have a look at a map of federal aid at a link I'll provide to see who are the real "socialist states" most dependent on federal aid (which is in great part provided by CA's generous taxes to our disadvantaged union members). Darker means more dependence. Seven of the top ten most dependent states are red. California ranks at #48 of 51 (D. C. is the extra 1), only surpassed in independence from federal aid by 3 other blue states: IL, WA, NJ. No basis for the claim that CA is running off of money provided by red states; more so the COMPLETE OPPOSITE.

I kind of wish y'all would educate yourselves rather than this practice of making false statements and I'm the one presenting easily found facts to refute. But I get that maybe the state you're in didn't prepare you properly.
@zeitgeist057 and the more Blue States pour money into teachers and education , the dumber the kids get.
Exactly the sort of empty rebuttal I expected. A subjective declaration, not just devoid of any supporting evidence, but soundly ignorant of the presented facts. Akin to the playground argument of "nuh uh".

good question. a lot of people are predicting there will be a civil war soon and this will probably be what will trigger it
Hello Daniela, I see you're back at your old account. How do you manage so many accounts at once? I commend you for this
I am me and she is her.
Maybe no election, actually you would get Trump still because there are more red states than blue it seems
No , more electoral votes with the Blues
Definitely more red states on that map though, must go by population, we have the biggest population in the northeast
You know that the plan behind the Jan 6 attack on democracy was to take the choice of president from the people to the representatives in the House on a one vote per state basis? Minority rule by dishonestly throwing out valid electoral votes or, when Pence wouldn't go along with it (although Republicans in Congress were prepared to), the violent attack on the Capitol.
Biden can just give up, now because, from what I've seen, there's a lot more red states than blue and most of the purples are going red.
The red states will be overridden by the SCOTUS because, unlike Trump, Biden has done nothing to attack the United States.
people will stop paying their taxes until we get our shit together
We still have Vivek.
I’m not worried, regardless. Biden is gonna get wrecked. His administration is a complete failure
Ita gonna make the summer of 2020 look like a. CHurch picnic.
If they do this and start a civil war I am going to be hunting diwn and killing woketards. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
It'd again come down to the "swing states" on what they decide to do
swing states were blue states.
I have no idea. Nothing good I'm sure. All of these things are possible and could all happen.
Republicans will breathe a sigh of relief and find another candidate.
They will it's against the Constitution
Time for the Hawkeye Caucusi!!!
