Americans always act like they know more. Like all your country does is just kill innocent people by bombing people who just want to live their life. America is the biggest terrorist of all nations. I hope it goes down in history as that. I can’t wait to see the nation fall. It’s time Asia makes a name for itself.

Oh, so I've read some other opinions and I have to start by saying that criticizing any nation for its brutality is rich coming from a member of the nation that actually invented the modern concentration camps (during the Boer Wars). While they might have been milder than what was to come... It's not like they weren't deadly.

However, I have to admit that with the ever-increasing stealth and UAV strike capabilities on the US side I kind of feel like not much more than an unwilling target for some stray explosives. With the Western societies rotting and basically persecuting men for being men, which is inspired by what's happening in the US, I don't think I can consider myself a supporter of the Western model of society anymore, and being a man, I consider myself to be under threat. While I'm not exactly a high-ranking Iranian general, the thought that the US can simply kill anyone who does not butter up to them or does not accept their rotten values and there is no clear way to make them face the consequences is absolutely terrifying. It's not about getting rounded up by the military and chucked into some hellhole anymore. This kind of treatment could be resisted. People would engage in combat with the military, dying on their own terms, or go into hiding, sneaking past the borders and seeking asylum in remote parts of the world. Now, there is little one can do to avoid a satellite-guided drone strike or a guided bomb dropped from a B-2/B-21 (though the latter is rather unlikely due to being less accurate and thus incurring the risk of collateral damage that would heavily impact the US's reputation and could possibly turn the tables). The problem is, it's just the worst terror so far. Things can and will get worse.

Now... I wholeheartedly agree that it's time for Asia to shine, as there is little hope left for the West (though, as shown here on GaG, it's not down to zero yet). I just pray, for my own and for my country's sake, that the country to take the hegemony is not Russia, but China. They seem much more willing to use soft power and delegate responsibility due to being unable or unwilling to control all of the world directly, and they have no ongoing conflict with my country. Now, for an unreal option, Japan seems like a good candidate. I mean, even the abandoned ones in the West take shelter in the alternative realities provided by anime. However, Japan has no credible military presence to justify their hegemony, and if they did get some... They are honorable compared to the West, with even their war songs being respectful towards their enemies, but even so, if they turned out half as brutal as they used to be (forced to be - but they still did achieve that level of brutality), the hopeful picture would be somewhat ruined. On the bright side, China might actually need Japan to be the vessel for their own ideas, so that fresh Japanese breeze might be here to stay anyway. The world is wary of China, but it came to embrace Japan, so if the Chinese ideas were to be exported through Japanese anime series and related media, a somewhat more peaceful and less cruel world could be achieved. It will never be perfect, but anything better than the current state of affairs would be welcome.

I guess that's optimistic... So, what's the political forecast for the nearest future? I think both of the likely candidates for the President of the United States of America have some aggressive agenda, with Biden being confrontational towards Russia and Trump being confrontational towards China. What would have to be done to align the policies of the government of the USA with the will of the citizens of the USA?

Also, at this point, I think the USA withdrawing from NATO while it's still hopelessly dependent on American support would be begging for yet another world war originating in Europe. So it's less about not getting involved in conflicts (but no more nukes would be aapreciated), more about not igniting unnecessary conflicts like it happened with some Middle Eastern countries recently.
