Should Clarence Thomas recuse himself?

Trump is taking his case on presidential immunity to SCOTUS. Considering the importance of presidential immunity, SCOTUS will hear it. We know that Thomas's wife was a proponent of a stolen election and supported Trump's claims. This means there is a clear conflict of interest for Clarence Thomas in this case. Should he recuse himself, so we know that SCOTUS will have decided based on legality and not loyalty to a politician?

As long as the vote isn't split 5-4 if (when) Thomas doesn't recuse himself, I wouldn't mind that much.

I'm not a trump fan at all. That said I don't know if his wife's beliefs mean it's a conflict for him. His wife doesn't have anything to do with it. I mean this technically speaking. He should step down from his position for completely different reasons however.

I agree, but he isn't going to step down. I actually think he can be fair I some cases, but he has more than just beliefs at stake in the presidential immunity case.

After his wife's treasonous behavior and his corrupt grifting became public, he should have resigned from the court!!! They are both a disgrace.

@Tara2020 nobody, SCOTIS has acted without 1 or more justices before. Shelly v Kramer had 3 recuse themselves.

I want to continue to trust the system, but if his vote breaks a tie, and it favors Trump I have doubts in the system's fairness.
