**Yesterday in Three Stores. I Also Saw No Cash Back and Exact Change Only!!! Any Thoughts? xxoo
It started with coins. The sign says there is a shortage of coins. Really? What happened to the coins?
The new world order wants to get rid of physical money. It's the ultimate control.

This shit will fly in Europe, but not in America. I was in a Target store, and I had a cart full of stuff. A voice came over the overhead speaker. "Americans, we ask that you don't shop here on weekends, because we want to make room for our friends from Canada."
Good idea.
A lot of stores are moving away from a cash system
I've seen it many times and it's nothing new. It's not common but I think I've seen that for decades. Some places don't like dealing with cash, either for safety reasons or they just don't want to mess with it.
I've seen the opposite as well, where they only accept cash. I was at a store recently that only accepted cash.
There are also still some places that charge extra if you use a card. I don't see that as often as I used to. It used to be common at gas pumps to charge a few cents more per gallon to use a card.
Charge cards can really eat into profits of some businesses. Like my friend who owns a coffee shop loved it when people started using their phones to pay for coffee. The processing fee for cards really ate his profits.
I can understand that stores, particularly convenience stores, in high crime areas, may want to have cash only in a drop safe which the clerks can't access. However, it seems rather unfair to refuse to accept legal tender.

I actually have but only a few times. It is OK but I don't like the thing where they flip this screen around and you are supposed to pick how large of a tip you want to leave. Usually I just pick "zero" because I normally don't tip cashiers.
I just got back from a cruise and everything was cashless there. You register your credit card ahead of time and everything is charged to your onboard account. That is great because you don't need to ever deal with money on the ship.
@ArrowheadSW Items I Bought and Charged on my Card. xxoo
Ah OK. I thought of this after I asked you. I was just looking at my list and it is OK. The drinks are expensive... LOL... Where did you go on a cruise?
@Paris13 I was at a pizza place recently, and they had to call over a special cashier because I was paying cash... LOL... Also, if the bill is say, $12.76, and you pay the person with $13.01, is it THAT hard to figure out that the change is 25 cents? Especially when they just have to plug in $13.01 on the cash register.
So I can get off at 11:00 pm from 10:30 pm to 11:00 pm it's only debit or credit no cash. Because I'm counting my till and butting in the safe. So, I can clock out the head at 11:00 pm
Seen a couple chain restaurants in DC that do that, and places in the hood do that when they've been robbed too many times. Doesn't affect me much since I don't use/carry cash so I can collect the airline miles, but I can see how that would be obnoxious.
No not in my small country town. but last time I saw my dad there was a store with a sign that said No cash? no problem we accept IWC, EBT and all major credit cards and debit cards. It confused me 🤨I thought they were saying they accept other options besides cash not that cash wasn't an option.
No, it is actually illegal not to take cash. I have raised a stink about this before. They told me they would not take cash at CVS when I picked up a prescription. I told them I was leaving the cash on the counter and walking out. She got the manager and he got out his key and opened the cash drawer on the cash register. He was not happy.
No and I don’t wanna pay with credit cards all the time the next thing you know you got a stack of bills piled up real high. They want you to do that on purpose so you can pay an interest rate and pay more than the amount. I’m not interested, I like to pay in cash
No, and I don't think it is legal to refuse cash. Not sure about that.

I've never seen an article like this. I mostly see "credit card accept" text. However, the best payment method is cash. If a customer pays by credit card, this will cause inflation to increase. because the money stays in the bank. However, money must circulate in the market. That's why everyone should use cash. I always try to use cash
No I haven't seen that yet except at those damned self checkouts. I have been to one place though that is the exact opposite. Cash only no credit cards.
They put up one of those, they cease to be a store I shop at. Simple as that. I have no more patience for that than for "No Irish Need Apply".
Hi Paris.
Yeah, I had to take my car in for a service and MOT the other day. They no longer accept cash.
In fact, most places here are trying to move away from cash altogether.
Its either a high crime area, no cash means its not worth breaking into, or robbing at gunpoint.
OR, this could be a further push from private companies to words a digital currency.
Sometimes at my restaurant we just run out of change our delivery is delayed or doesn't come in till a certain day, and if we had a lot of cash handling throughout the weekend 😅. Though anytime we put up those signs nobody reads those signs so what's the Point 😂
It's becoming more common. Get ready for one world bank and universal credit.
Then bend over because Rothschild and Rockefeller have something for you...
It's becoming more popular. Money is actually a carrier for multitudes of bacteria and harmful substances.
Not seen that here but a few stores have a minimum spend before you can use a card. Supermarket.
I've never seen that, but it doesn't really surprise me
yes just the other day. i've only seen it once tho. not quite sure what to think of it
Cashless and Assless. lolxx
I've only seen cash only. The owner got tired of paying the high fees from the credit card companies. I think there are other reasons why he did it.
I've seen this at some checkout counters but never at the complete store.
Same
Quite the opposite
Usually I see 'cards accepted but cash preferred'
Some times it's even 'cash only'
Nah, not really dealing in change with jewellery
I rarely pay with cash, so I probably wouldn't notice.
Not me.
Another by-product of Joey and his worthless new money!
saw it at a high school soccer game!
Some restaurants give cash discounts since there's no card fees
Only at self check out with certain machines or if there is an issue with the cash drawer and can only do credit or debit transactions
Hopefully there’s no surcharge by using credit or debit since some places charge extra if you don’t use cash so I don’t know how they’re doing with that
Normal for self checkouts, haven’t noticed it anywhere else yet. Doesn’t matter to me
That's been happening on airplanes for years. It's coming, slow and steady.
Most airlines that charge for drinks or meals do not take cash on the plane.
I believe that's illegal. Our money states it's legal tender for all debts.
Only when debts are incurred, like your bills or post paid services, or if you eat at a diner. For goods and prepaid services, it is legal.
Not yet.
Some places I'll use cash, others I won't.
If they are going the wrong way for me, I'll vote with my money and they will lose. Very simple, really.
Yeah. Once in awhile. Lol
Yes. Cash is a nightmare for stores to deal with, so I expect it will be more and more common.
I've seen the opposite in stores.
No Paris, I sure haven't.
Thanks.
That means they're getting robbed too much, so they don't want to carry cash anymore.
That is illegal in the US.
Yes on most airlines
I’ve prolly have, I don’t remember tho
Yes I have been seeing this a lot.
Man... times are changing.
Lol.
No never.
No I haven't
I hope to see you when you get here
