This was peak covid19 in the winter so people didn't want to get sick. Our government let's us vote from the comfort of our own homes in today's world of doordash and Uber eats which both companies gained big foot holds. So why not take advantage?

Biggest thing abisten ballots has always been a thing with military family's. You get stationed in what ever country you as an American citizen still have a right to vote. Your family included of voting age.

So mail in voting was as old military services. So they have ways to figure who is voting and who you are. Guess what it didn't need a photo ID BECAUSE PHOTOS DIDN'T EXIST untill what Lincoln era and drives license wasn't a thing till 1950, I'm guessing.

No, Trump was told by his own advisers that there was no election fraud. He thought that as President he could just make a phone call and they would "find" as many votes as he wanted. The fact that he couldn't should give you faith in the integrity of the electoral system.

So he brought his findings to a commission, they were investigated and cleared. So that in a later step the results could be certified. They same procedure as in thousands of other counties.

First of all, the primary news sources in Germany are German stations, obviously. But since Germany sits in the middle of Europe and every German speaks two or three languages, we watch also foreign channels to get a more complete picture. So, while I do watch CNN, it's maybe 5% of my total information input.
The United States has more than 160 million registered voters, so of course election fraud happens in the thousands and also of course, it has no impact on the results, that's simple mathematics. Just as a side note - the found and prosecuted voter fraud cases were 60:40 in favor of Republican candidates.
Maybe you want to check the details of the 62 court cases that Trump all lost, on state and federal level, in front of GOP and DEM appointed judges? Maybe you want to check the results of the public recounts and the private auditions that found nothing relevant? Maybe you want to trust the word of Bill Barr himself, who called the election free and fair and Joe Biden the legitimate winner? Maybe, JUST MAYBE, it all checks out, because it all checks out and not because the big bad Deep State, Fake News and WEF globalist lizard people got together to set up the invisible conspiracy of the century to steal a federal election?

I will ignore the petty remark because no German I know would describe Germany as perfect and simply answer with: I don't know, the investigations are ongoing. According to some preliminary press releases, the German prosecutors have identified several members of what looks to be some rogue/unsanctioned faction of Ukrainian foreign agents. More information will come out over time, I assume.
Whatever the desired results of that attack might have been, it didn't have much of a negative impact. Germany has become independent from Russian gas by increasing imports from several other countries, including direct LNG delivery from the USA for the first time. Our household prices have sunken to the same prices as before the war.
