The latest Rasmussen poll reveals that most elite Democrats condone voter fraud. How about that?

When veteran pollster Scott Rasmussen surveyed a group of Americans he calls the elite 1% earlier this year, he discovered a startling number who say it’s OK to win an election by cheating.

Rasmussen: We asked voters, 1,000 voters, to suppose there was an election and it was close but your candidate lost. And if their campaign team knew they could win by cheating and not get caught, would you want them to do so?

Among voters, only 7% say they’d rather cheat than win. I wish it was 1% or 2%, but 7% is not bad. Among the elite 1%, 35% would rather cheat than win. Then among a group that we call the politically obsessed elite—people who are not only in the elite 1%, but they talk politics every day—69% of them would rather cheat to win the election.

It’s because they don’t have much respect for the opinions of voters.

Does this surprise anyone.

no, the public rehtoric aligns with those statements. they believe in what they are doing and so will seek anyway to win for they see it as the survival global humanity. I think Tulsi does a good job calling out the flaws in their behavior and thinking. Good luck convincing any of them they are wrong. Realize... the "devil" thinks he's right. Psych patients don't know they have a problem, etc..

This why I support the right view of securing elections (no illegals voting at all, limit mail in, etc..) and why it's so dangerous if the election methods are suspect and we have another contested 50/50 election.

In a sense, Trump did similar by resisting the election decision to the extent that he did. One can see why he would complain, but had insufficient means to legally overcome it... which lead to more issues.

Such behaviors and polarization... decline in ethics, values and discarding of constitution can result in others premature demise.

Yes, this was unheard of 20 years ago. There was always stories of election fraud but nothing of the scale that went on in 2020. Civid and the expansion of mail in ballots made it too easy for democrats to cheat in strategic districts. President Trump war Ed us beforehand what a disaster mail in ballots will be. He was not wrong.

that's the thing about him... in my view... his communication at times is abrasive to some minds... he speaks off the cuff and out of his head which may not sound good. But he's right, he summarizes complex issues into big picture strategy decisions and quickly implements plans to get control of them. Think North Korea, Iran, Russia, China, etc..
Issues maybe not totally solved but "right sided".
the left won't agree with that though and thinks he screwed everything up.
He's right about returning the country to Christianity as well. Doesn't mean everyone has to be... it means if we don't maintain those roots, it will change such that... we'll... we see how that is going.

I have found Rasmussen one of the few that is not skewed to the democrats. still, a poll is only as good as the data collected. The sample size was 1000 people

If 1% are "elites", you're extrapolating from 10 people's answers.

@goaded He did not really specify how many people in the sample were in the 1%. The poll took a cross section of the population. He asked people their political preference and their income and profession afterwards.

The Washington Post reported "For years, Rasmussen’s results have been more favorable for Republican candidates and issues. During the Trump administration, though, the site’s public presence became more overtly partisan, with tracking polls sponsored by conservative authors and causes and a social media presence that embraced false claims that spread widely on the right. At times, Rasmussen’s polls actively promoted those debunked claims, including ones centered on voter fraud."

Due to the obvious favoritism of Rasmussen to Republicans even when shown to be based on questionable or fraudulent results, the respected poll aggregation and evaluation site 538 has dropped Rasmussen from inclusion in its polling averages and forecasts. Of course Republicans who would rather cheat than agree with the honest will of the people are still following Trump's lead in spreading lies. They are the ones who have no respect for the opinions of voters.

Well, they already admitted this in the Time Magazine article about how a “cabal” met and “conspired,” to “fortify” the 2020 election. They couldn’t even wait several years after the fact like they did when JFK won via shenanigans against Nixon.

Rasmussen is a far right entity so they have no credibility here. For example, if they polled republicans and didn't like the results I wouldn't put it passed them to lie and say they actually polled democrats.

Rasmussen polled 1000 people from all groups. Democrats Reps and indies. The aggregate score was 7% When they drilled down to political elites which were o erwhelmingly democrats front the media, academia, big business etc. The score was a whopping 69%. It was mentioned that the score might be higher because maybe some would not admit this to a pollster

Where did you see "political elites which were overwhelmingly democrats"? Half the Senate are Republican political elites, so are the people I listed before.

And yet the actually found and prosecuted voter fraud, for example in connection with the 2020 federal election, was majorly committed by Republican voters. How about that?

"The wife of a Woodbury County Republican elected official has been sentenced to four months in prison for voter fraud... 52 federal offenses, including fraudulent voting, fraudulent registration and providing false information." (Maximum sentence 5 years PER offence.)

As opposed to one black woman who voted while unknowingly ineligible, who got 5 years, until finally acquitted recently.
