Which is worse? Death or humiliation?

There is so many ways this can be answered, but each has its own sides to it. But death is definitely worse. And its something that each and every one of us will face sometime in our life. When its time its time.

You can't come back from that. But you can come back from humiliation and people will move on and forget. How you deal with the humiliation depends on the person. Each person has been humiliated before in some way and they are still there.

For woman rape is a serious and bad thing and can scar them for life, but they can bounce back from it with the right support in the end.

Death is something you can't reverse, once declared dead.

"His name is mud." Is a phrase that comes to mind. Dr. Samuel Mudd was convicted of being a conspirator in the Lincoln assassination because he set the broken ankle of John Wilkes Booth. He was later pardoned because he was innocent but to this day the conviction remains attached to the Mudd family despite numerous attempts to have it expunged. Talk about humiliation. That has transcend time and been a source of humiliation for generations after the initial conviction. The phrase is older than the assassination but it took on new meaning after.

You can bounce back from humiliation and reek your revenge, not so much with death. Sure you can avoid humiliation via death but no one will care why you made that choice.

Death is certain. Humiliation can be redeemed or it can hang over you for the rest of your life. With that established, humiliation is worse.
