Well... sort of but it's a little more to it than that. See, the trans craze is nearly exclusive to countries that are all majority white. Mainly because majority white countries tend to allow people to speak freely and don't make it illegal to say things no matter how absurd.

So naturally if an insane idea is going to spread it's going to be in countries with more freedom and those countries tend to be majority white. And since they are majority white the. The majority of people that are going to latch on to a craze are also going to be white.

So it's not exactly that white people have some inherent tendency toward being trans. It's just that there are more of them in places where trans is likely to take hold of the population

Yes and no. The percentage of people who are trans is probably the same over time and across groups of populations such as races. The difference in how many is officially transgender is therefore how easy it is for them to come forward and be recognized as such and the group that lives in the most open societies, has the fewest cases of oppression and all that nonsense is also the ones who therefore becomes most free to reveal themselves.

As such its very likely that most transgender people we know of today is white, but it is not because white people are more likely to be transgender.
