How do you not know about the dark/deep web? You can go to Target, Walmart or Instagram. The dark web comprises demons. Most of the web is underground. In the dark world you can buy a stolen baby or a stolen kidney. It's shocking to know that the majority of the web is dark. Most of has looked for sex online, but where do find a "hit man?"

I only mention this, because a guy said I was wrong. I wish I was wrong.

Interesting how you define the Dark web.

The internet is just a bunch of servers connected by a vast transportation network and addressing scheme.

In the "light web" you find the servers "you want" via other "search engine" servers. These servers get their data by data-mining what other servers know about other servers crawling the web from server to server to build a "Web" then categorize said information in a topic related manner which can be ranked and returned to you in order of likelihood of match to your query.

There is of course enormous power in controlling that query for what turns up in a reasonably high point on that list controls all that you learn and get to see.

What you are referring to as "Deep web" is simply the arrogate list of such servers which short of your own search engine you have no hope of knowing about and finding what you want from it.

What you refer to as "Dark web" is information you would rather people not have access to either because its private or you judge it dangerous.

In either case what people know of the web comes from those search engines at the top be it via algorithms, TV media stream, word of mouth, or simply your going thou every IP address yourself or with your own search engine.

The dark web is just made up of websites that are not registered.. you need special software to search it. I guess there is a lot of illegal stuff on it. You can buy drugs, guns or body parts and all kinds of counterfeit money. Just steer clear of it. Don't look for trouble

No, it is software designed to go to websites that do not have URL names but only use IP addresses.

Eh... darkweb and deepweb is not the same and its used interchangable here. Thats also why its wrong and right at the same time. Yes darkweb can lead to dangerous websites and also to things like hitmen organsellers etc. Also deepweb is most of the internet yes. But deepweb is not the same as darkweb. Darkweb is a specific part of the deepweb.
Deepweb is everything that requires a login to access or another non public access to a website. Deepweb in on itself is not dangerous just worth protecting yourself in. That is especially true if you DO go into the darkweb, which bassically requires Tor Or something comparably.

But that is bassically shown in the picture as well. And what you wrote is true for the most part, except the part of 'most of the internet is the darkweb'. The darkweb is not THAT big, the deepweb on the other hand IS BIG.

I once went to darkweb fora to see some real political discussion, you know the kind that can't be censored. Where the real information can be freely shared. Instead I found such bad commentary I knew it only had idiots on there and the information I can get on alternative non-tor media is far more valuable. Thats the last time I used the dark web, because my conclusion was that unless what you want is extremely illegal it will just be on the regular internet.

I use Bing. Google is shit!! Most of the time, I never get what I'm looking for or I have to sift through dozens of pages of hits before I even come close to what I'm looking for! At least with Bing, my query is right at the top of the list or at LEAST on the first page!
