I don't know what the rules are about lawyers talking to judges, but yes, the case should be dropped. None of the cases would have been brought to trial if Trump hadn't decided to run. Obvious political persecution by the left. Hillary has the gall to say that Trump will go after political enemies if he's elected when that's what Biden is doing right now.

The judge's conduct in the trial should also be investigated, i. e., reviewed by an appellate court. Things like deciding a case before hearing the defense are not OK.

If he is found guilty (and there is no possible way he could be if anyone on the jury has a working brain) you can be sure there will be appeals. But the first appeals to the New York courts will also be corrupt. May have to go higher.

But they don't care what happens on appeal. By then the election will be over. The whole plan for all of these cases is to make President Trump look bad to fool the ignorant and interfere with the election. They couldn't care less what happens after the election when all the appeals would take place. They know that any honest court would acquit him.

I would say that is a big part of it. His ideas were already extremely popular. In 2020 he got more votes than any incumbent president in US history. So he was already extremely popular.
