I've had two incidents occur, one in which I purchased a $200 black powder derringer, but noticed that I was only charged $20. I stayed in the store and raised the problem, so that I'd be charged appropriately.
Then today when I ordered a 750 bottle of vodka and went to pick it up. But when I looked into the bag with my name on it, there was a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka in there. I mentioned that I only paid for 750 ml, and it was switched out.
Some people in this case would've just left, but I was raised to be honest and not capitalize off of the mistakes of others. I view it as immoral and outright thievery if I'd done anything other than what I did in both of those cases.

I would just leave. I have been screwed over plenty and this sort of evens the score. I had dinner at a restaurant one night and I wanted to buy a $50 gift certificate for my wife at the same time. I was charged abut $75 dollars and gave the kid a hundred dollar bill. He gave me two $50s. I figured I did him a favor. If his boss took it out of his pay he would be more careful in the future.
