The world we live in today is safer and easier to raise childfen in than it has been most of ghe time through history. You think it was easy to raise kids through famines, plagues, no electrocity/water/knowledge of bacteria, no medicine, children dying of colds, life expectancy of 30-40 years because so many childfen died young and women in child birth, bloody wars where they had to crawl in snow and mudd to shoot and stab the enemy losing their feet and fingers to the cold or constantly wet feet, the great depression, the no store to buy food so if the weather was off a summer or you had a buf infestarion on your fields you and your children would starve… It was easier? You sleep in your comfy bed in your comfy house in you peaceful country with food in the fridge and the grocery store full of food and restaurants everywhere, schools and healthcare available for all children and wellfare/foodstamps available if shit really hits the fan for your family, you don’t have to go to war and die and you don’t have to send your sons there either. You wanna whine that the world is too unsafe to have kids. Yes, some countries/part of countries of the world are worse off but I wanna but you and your whiny ass is not in one of those countries.

That’s horseshit. The world was way better off for raising kids 20 to 30 years ago than it is now. Mental health is worse now than it has ever been at any point in history. I disagree because the world will never be a good place and looking back in history I would say it had been way worse in the past. Sure there are some problems people didn´t have to face 50-100 years ago but there are other problems they faced that people these days don´t. There has never been and never will be a time where having children is a risk free endavour.
People have children since it´s in their nature and they have made the experience of growing up in a healthy loving family. So they want to have that again because it´s something of value money can´t buy.

Yes, they have- what world are YOU living in? In 2019, we were in the richest and safest era of human history. We've fallen since, but we're still in a respectable second place. High levels of automation in most things we do means it's never been EASIER to raise children. For that matter, it's never been easier to fix the problems currently plaguing the planet.

It is part of the balance. As things get worse people have fewer kids which causes things to get better. The far right is trying to break this cycle by ensuring people have more kids by force if necessary. This keeps things bad so they can rule the dystopia in perpetuity.
