No. The Constitution specifies the minimum age but the maximum age should be entirely up to the voters. Many people become wiser with age and if we need anything in government we need more wisdom.
Many if not most people, such as President Trump, are physically robust and mentally competent well into their 70s and even 80s and '90s. While others like Biden are mentally deteriorating and it should be up to the voters to decide whether or not they want a mentally incompetent person to control America's nuclear arsenal and the fate of themselves their children and their grandchildren.
If they vote for Biden, so be it. They will get what they deserve.
@RingOfFire But it's not up to the voters. It's up to the party bosses who determine the candidates, the only choices the voters have. Primaries, which are supposed to allow the voters to determine the candidates, don't do that. By the time most state primaries happened this year, the candidates were already determined.
To an extent I agree in a theoretical sense. But now more than any time in recent history at least you are getting a choice between two candidates with extremely different agendas. While neither of them maybe the candidate of your choice, there is no candidate that represents everything that I want, you still get to decide between either someone who you like versus someone you don't like, or at least a minimum the lesser of two evils. So that choice is indeed up to the voters to decide. There is a lot of difference between the candidates in this particular election. The ideologies they represent are vastly different, and there is a vast difference in their physical and mental fitness as well.
35 and 75. Same with legislators.
Absolutely. Term limits/age limits should apply to the Supreme Court and Congress as well. If they're all "equal" then they need the same rules and oversight.
Picked that 1st option!

At what age would most people think it a bad idea their grandparent driving alone a thousand miles, through busy cities, desolate areas.
For most it’s about 70-75.
55 should be maximum... then they could serve till 59, and get re-elected for a second term before they turn 60
35 to 55... should be alright
No matter who is some President in some U. S. of some A. ...
I'll have my own life anyway.
''Leaders come; and ''leaders'' go.
I will stay :D
There should be a mental axmcuity test a d just to make it fair, everyone who is elected president must pass it regardless of age
No, what seems old to us is going to be relatively young in a few hundred years.
No, but they should be willing to take a cognitive ability test.
