What is the world’s safest country?

Probably here in Wales. 90% of it is just fields and nothing can really hurt you in a field except bulls and they're pretty east to spot anyway. When people do die its because they've tried to climb a mountain in winter wearing shorts and a pair of flip-flops. Yes there is crime but it's fairly low, newspaper often have to resort to headlines like, "woman told off for shouting in the street," because some weeks nothing happens. With a couple of exceptions you can walk safely alone at night and not be bothered by anything more than a curious bat. Murders happen, my county records between 0-3 a year but they're usually within families so its ok.

Iceland is a safe haven. Greenland is also safe but life can be depressive. Others are Norway and Finland.

Probably Costa Rica as they have no military and derive almost all their money from tourism, two main typrs. One type is okay (ecotourism). The second (sex tourism), not so much. Since they pose no threat, bo country has any reason to act aggressively towards them.

Right now, Iceland is considered to be the world's safest country. Usually Nordic European countries are seen as the safest.

Iceland has no mosquitoes... might be the safest country against dengue infections

I would hazard a guess at Switzerland or one of the Nordic countries but not Iceland because they have a tendency to have volcanoes erupting.
