I like both really. Almost everyone I've known from the middle east are really such kind generous people if you get to know them.

On the other hand every indicator I see is that Russia's star is rising. Their economy is booming. Add to that other factors like BRICS, de-dollarization, end of the Petro dollar, the cutting the US out of diplomatic and trade relations of most of the world etc..
Also the attempt by the US to pounce on and steal the 10-12 trillion in mineral resources in Ukraine. The overthrow of Ukraines govt in 2014, putting nukes in Poland & Romania, 12 CIA bases, billions in weapons, talk of NATO expansion. The attempt to steal the 10-12 trillion in resources has failed so far, 500k dead & NATO has had us on the brink of nuclear war over it
That and you compare Moscow which is a beautiful, clean modern city versus the dirty dilapidated cities in the US. It's had me thinking at least that life might be better over there.

I know a few Russians that are agreeable persons.

Can't say the same about any of the Arabs that I have met.

Middle East contains Arabs (Majority), Turks, Greeks, Armenian, Kurds, Persian, Circassians and many more.
but sure to the rest of the world, Middle East means only Arab.
