So I was peaceably walking my dog today down the street.
And then out of nowhere I hear a loud and I mean REALLY FCKING LOUD sound right in my eardrums rapidly approaching me from behind.
I thought it was a dog charging me from behind.
I screech out “HOLY SHIT” and my entire body tenses up. I frantically look behind me but the car is already in front of me.
A pitbull hanging out of its owners car. The car driving by at 50 miles per hour.
The dog looks like it wants to jump out. Like it wants to kill me.
But in that moment I feel anger. I feel this burning desire.
I desperately wanted the dog to jump out so I could face it.
With my body still tense I’m thinking to myself “I FCKING DARE YOU PLEASE JUMP RIGHT OUT OF THAT FCKING WINDOW RIGHT NOW SO I CAN BEAT THE MTHERFCKING EVERLIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU.”
I wanted to kill that dog desperately. I wanted so badly for it to jump out of that window and face me. I wanted to fcking strangle and punch and kick it and smash its head into the cement. I felt REALLY FCKING ANGRY at that dog.
Aside from the initial startle where I screeched out “HOLY SHIT”
I felt motivated by anger in that moment.
I wanted a fight and I wanted that dog to jump out of the car and face me so I could kick its fcking *ss and kill it. I hated that dog for what it did.
I felt not one ounce of fear in my body aside from the initial shock once I identified the threat and where it was coming from.
I was motivated to kill it and I felt no fear in my body. Only anger.
If I had a Glock, I would have shot at the owner’s tires as the car was driving away.
So would my adrenaline have saved me?
Would I have most likely won the fight against the dog if it decided to attack?
Obviously if a fight were to have ensued, my odds of winning would have been much higher feeling motivated by anger than they would be if I cowered in fear.
The dog ultimately decided not to jump out of its owner’s car.
So in my mind, I won the fight.
In my mind I scared the dog with my determination.
Because I am someone that abhors violence in general. And I love animals too. Especially dogs
