Yeah, kind of predictable at this point. Trump is a crazy motherfucker with a terrible agenda, so if it’s gotten to the point where he’s in danger of losing, he’s gotta bow out for the hood of the country. It’s not like there’s just some normal Republican on the other side that you could stomach for a few years. It’s not just “well, it’s not who I preferred, but we’ll be alright.” We’ve seen him in action before, and it was not good. Especially behind the scenes, listen to the accounts from his early administration officials who resigned or were fired the first year or two…. they’re all like “the problem is that this guy is an absolute fucking buffoon.”

Like we’ve just heard SOOOOOOOO many stories, from other Republicans, and Trump and supporters are just like “nah, they’re lying because they got canned.” Right. Seems MUCH more likely that easily a dozen people I could probably scare names up for are all just lying, with the same general tenor to the stories of Trump’s alleged behavior. Absolutely no way that Trump actually IS an idiot, and it’s all or mostly true. That could never be. Right? RIGHT?🤦‍♂️😂

Anyway, seems like Kamala is next up to bat, because she can use the Biden fundraising money. I feel the average American is just a dumbass now, and need to be sold rhetoric and entertainment, not policy and substance, particularly with the way Trump approaches campaigning. It’s not great. But maybe you have to play on their ballfield, in which case I feel like Gavin Newsom might be better at that.

But I think it’ll be Harris, especially since we’re so close to the election. They should’ve figured this out six months ago, lmao. It does kind of flip the script on the age thing. Republicans have spent a lot of time saying Biden is too old, while Trump was just slightly younger. But now, obviously Harris is considerably younger, so now Trump is the old fossil in the race. I also don’t know what’s that attack-able about Harris. She laughs funny? Her voice kind of cracks? I don’t know…I mean, I’m sure there are some issues she supports that the right doesn’t, but just on character or qualifications alone, I’ve really only heard meaningless slander about supposedly sleeping her way to the top…but people say that about successful women all the time, so at best, I don’t believe it, and at worst, I don’t really care. She’s also of course got the most experience as VP, as it relates to other Democratic contenders.

But unless I find out something absolutely horrific about her, which I wouldn’t anticipate by this phase of the game, I would always vote for her over Trump.

I was saddened by the news, though I’ve come to my senses and support Kamala Harris 100%

I support someone who is a prosecutor, not a convicted felon. I support someone who doesn’t steal & hide 300+ classified documents. I support someone who isn’t old age, outdated, crooked, sleepy, or has bad behavior problems. I support someone who has what it takes to be President of The United States of America. I support someone who hates political violence on both sides and will stand for Law & Order. I support someone who knows our rich vibrant history along with recognizing also accepting the troubles and tribulations of the past.

Kamala Harris is going to be the nominee for President and she will have many challenges though I’m confident she will pull through.

Dang. No clue. I'm not under the impression that his VP was going to fill his shoes, but that's tough. I'm just hoping for someone respectful, intelligent and decently moderate (I don't approve of political radicalism, especially for people in positions of power.)

@Alli112 I remember Harris from the 2020 election, she has a record of disproportionately locking people of color for minor drug violations and she kept prisoners locked up passed their release date to use as cheap labor for fight wild fires.

I'm both tankful and pissed. Biden was showing clear signs cognitive impairment and had no path to victory so in this sense I'm thankful he did the right thing and dropped out, at the same time I'm pissed at the DNC for doing everything the could during the primaries to protect Biden instead of holding a legit primary, allowing voters to pick a better candidate. Now it's 1968 all over again, where the DNC hand picks their candidate who has gotten no votes in the primary.
