What is your opinion on this video's portrayal of how society views happiness?

It's a detailed commentary on the real global pandemic -- GREED and ENNUI

1. The portrayal of rats is a Sartrian reference as well as a reference to the prevalent "the rat race" metaphor of American commentators.

2. It focuses on the very capitalistic mindset... a commentary on the sociological disease affecting our culture... and rapidly spreading to classical European and Eastern communities, creating a general sense of malaise... We're never happy with what we have in our lives.

3. Only by turning away from reality (to drugs and other negatives) do some desperate people seem to find temporary bliss, only to crash and burn... and ultimately return to the "rat race."

I didn't watch the video but will say that society has it backwards with thinking that happiness is only brought to you by external things or circumstances when in reality everything we need to be happy with life is internal and within us
