Are videos of happy endings giving false hope to people?

It happens either in several movies, on Vid Chronicles videos or on Life Lesson with Luis episodes.

Disney happy ending:

The same plot of either the bullied kid becoming a wealthy executive and their former bully at his/her mercy or a woman that got ditched by her long-term boyfriend at age 30/31 by her boyfriend (basically he strings her along, wasting her years) and magically finds someone else, falls in love again and is expecting a child with her husband at age 32-33. LOL

What really happens:

My former bullies are successful meanwhile I've wasted time studying for a worthless degree. I'm not even working at my major. I never got rewarded with any prizes in life, nothing. The only rewards for me is my family's unconditional love or getting paid. My ex boyfriend drained my years (even scammed me) and unlike that happy ending, I'm single, it's harder in the dating world at this point and will likely not get the package of a child and marriage, not anytime soon, lol. I'll end up having a child on my own; I'll pay (I have the money for that, I can already afford it) for it at a lab.

Seriously are happy ending trying to lie to us? Do movies or episodes with those happy endings give false hope to people? Do any of you believe all that BS happy endings?

Most movies that are in the romance or romcom category are too unrealistic. Just because a guy saved a girl from getting hit by a car doesn't mean she's gonna kiss and fall in love with him in the middle of the street.

Exactly. Or them portraying all our former bullies as mediocre students with average-bad grades and ending up in fast food restaurants. LOL
A couple of my former bullies had good grades too and had no self-esteem issues. One girl in particular had better standardized exams scores and nearly straight A's all the time while I had A's and B's and average standardized scores. So much for the ''bullies are dumb and insecure'' theory lol.

Yea, underdogs never lose trope, an darker movies tend to be more realistic I would say.

Exactly. When I was bullied from grades 4th to 7th (a bit in 8th), how was I ever going to learn leadership, social skills, then later on seducting nature, etc? You're not going to learn all that after you graduate from school, in your adult years all of the sudden, after the damage was done. lol
Meanwhile the bullies were already likely popular with social skills whom used that to their advantage, discarding those they considered low and creating a hierarchy system.

I'm still a bit awkward in conversation sometimes. Even though I'm a good cook, I would've been an awesome saleswoman or promotor of my products. Therefore I would likely have to hire people with higher social skills, higher marketing skills, what bullies took away from me from the developing stage of a person. A person usually starts with those abiliites from an early age as practice, not all of the sudden as adults.

Lastly and sadly, my narcissist ex boyfriend that wasted my years is now a successful digital producer meanwhile I'm just an average hardworker woman, never got promoted at anything in life. Yeah bullies, narcissists and lying Chads are unfortunately more successful than their victims. There is no happy ending to my story. Also, one of my bullies in grade had better grades than me, lol. I had A's and B's and she had straight A's almost on every single report card, higher standardized score too. LOL. How about that? No self-esteem issues either. She just bullied for the sake of it and because she was better academically.

Exactly. It's not fun when you're back to your reality. The reality is the bullies already had certain leadership skills and they can be good students too. Not all bullies are academically bad nor have low self-esteem as many believed, lol.
Secondly, even if I found a decent man... he would still want to do the whole dating process and by the time I finally (if I even get there since no man is going to like getting rushed... just like I wouldn't like getting pressured for sex either) get a proposal, I'll be nearly infertile by then or the child comes out with issues.

True indeed. I was just wondering how many people actually buy into those BS happy ending? Are certain people that naive enough to believe that's the majority of time, lol
