There is no direct oppression, unless we're talking about Spain, where it's directly stated in their legislation that only a man can be the perpetrator of domestic violence, while a woman can only be a victim of domestic violence. While underage boys are supposedly spared the flak, if it's their mother who abuses them, they have nowhere to turn to. However, it's clear that some form of discrimination against men is ingrained into the modern Western societies. One shall seek no further than the infamous claim: "No one will believe you, because you're a man" aimed at Captain Johnny Depp. While it proved not to be fully correct, since a number of fans and even His former girlfriends (the latter was probably His saving grace) did actually support Captain Johnny Depp throughout the whole ordeal, He still faced a lot of flak and sustained some irreversible losses regarding His career due to a totally fabricated accusation. One can only imagine how utterly defenseless a regular man is against the society. Luckily, the very case of Captain Johnny Depp led to a partial awakening of the society to how warped it became, and even here on GaG I've encountered multiple cases where men were either being appreciated for their role in the society or even actively defended against unjustified attacks (I've even witnessed some women contradicting the generally anti-male sentiment related to the infamous "would you rather encounter a man or a bear in a forest" dispute, and I feel that's really indicative of how much more fair some parts of the society got).
I don't know about oppressed, but we definitely have some serious issues and are disadvantaged in a number of situations in society. Family law is very obviously not in men's favor. Men are also viewed as automatically at fault for any kind of physical or sexual dispute involving a woman, regardless of the validity of the accusation or events that actually occurred. That's just off the top my head.

No, they are not. If you look at the current members of Congress in the United States, they are overwhelmingly white and men. Our current president is white and a man. Our last president was white and a man. There has never been a female president of the United States. Ever. Many people, even women, will not vote for a woman simply because she is female.
Is society becoming increasingly hostile toward men (particularly white)? Yes, of course. But are they oppressed in real time? No way.
When it gets to the point where men are not admitted to college, not hired for any higher level jobs, refused access to certain restaurants and only allowed to sit in the back of buses, I'd say that was oppression.

White men are. Haven't you heard? It started in the early 1990s. So for 30 years now. We have some resilience do we not?
Only white men?
Those who throw around the word oppression in gender politics, especially for men, do not know what the word means.
Oppressed? No. Confused and angry? Yes.
