The boxer thing does highlight the ‘how many sexes are there’
The boxer featured passes the how do you recognise a female argument. The usual is the person a guy or a girl check, says girl, then they go but, but, but… now let’s move the goal posts and say if there is another test that needs to be passed, looking at a Chromosome level is now seen as the next step, however even that is not perfect.

People jumping on the Transgender slamming does not help resolve the issue, which is how do you fairly define an athletes gender group, the group they are allowed to compete in.
Or, are people actually looking to define people when they are born and using chromosome type tests to say if their daughter is actually their son or their son is actually their daughter?
With DSD/Intersex there needs to be official and public recognition of this sort of middle ground and for sports a workable rule, decision put in place. For the current boxing side of things, any athlete falling into this category needs suspended until that sports governing body or bodies bring out a workable ruling that actually works. Any ruling needs to be very clear, very testable, very easy for people to understand, as if their work around such as taking birth control pills to lower testosterone is simply masking everything.
But with one side saying she’s a woman, the other still using the Transgender side, only a few are pointing towards intersex. Until that is recognised then there cannot be a fair and workable way to manage this in sport.
Another thing people on the ‘it’s a guy’ train fail to grasp, is that her country of origin would put her in prison if she was. Her country of origin is very much against Gay, Bisexual never mind anything else such as the full LGBT+.
Do you not think the solution is simple? As part of the blood screening Olympians are subjected to add a chromosome test for the female divisions. It's as simple as pie. Nobody is concerned about women competing in men's sports because men's is the most competitive. Women's categories are specifically designed to give WOMEN a chance at greatness.
@Ladsin2 it’s not that simple.

He, if the reports are true, has a Y Chromosome and excess testosterone. He also likely has testes that never dropped which your article also mentions. "These people usually have testicles which are often inside the body". A female olympian took one hit from him and quit because she, "Had never been hit that hard in her life". I think it's pretty simple. The entire purpose of a female division is to exclude males. That's legitimately the purpose of them. Saying that the only possible way of determining sex is a passport is an absurdity, and "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."
@Ladsin2 testing needs to be very clear and consistent, otherwise it’s not a test.
The problem is testing at a Chromosome level is not consistent, it needs to be at a gene level. If scientists (globally) find it hard, then I doubt the average GaG user has the solution.
Quote.
“It’s obviously a very good marker, as most people with a Y chromosome are male…but it’s not a perfect indicator.”
For some people with DSD, the Y chromosome is not a fully formed typical male Y chromosome. It may have some genetic material missing, damaged or swapped with the X chromosome, depending on the variation.
When it comes to being male or female, what is usually crucial is a specific gene called SRY - which stands for ‘sex-determining region of the Y chromosome’.
Not sure about other countries, here you need a birth certificate to get a passport, it is issued based on that. Also to be clear, they should be suspended until a clear consistent and agreed test can be agreed upon. I do not believe males should be in female specific sports, however it has been a grey area for those with high testosterone and or male chromosomes.
DNA testing is so incredibly accurate that we put people in prison for life or even kill them if their DNA shows up at a crime scene, but it's not accurate enough for sports? I honestly find this to be such a convoluted way of thinking. Is there a 1:1,000,000 chance that an honest to god female will be banned unfairly from participating in sports due to a false positive. Sure, I suppose there is that chance. That said weighing that risk against the destruction of female sports is a pretty simple decision. In my estimation. That said I think we've about hashed out all we can on this topic. Thanks for the conversation.
@Ladsin2 yes that’s DNA is good but you miss or ignore the point that it’s not accurate at this when there are other areas. The problem they face is this will leach in to non sporting life, where parents will need DNA tests to check if their son or daughter actually is a son and not a daughter etc.
why should a female event / show jumper be banned when it’s a male and female multi event?
This means all school and colleges must also screen everyone, that’s going to be fairly cheap.
@Ladsin2 anyone doing sports at a completion level, is subject to testing. Some testing goes down to young sports people, there are tests in football, rugby, cricket, athletics, snooker, even chess at higher levels.

Quote “Any UK athlete subject to the anti-doping rules of their sport and non-UK athlete staying, training, residing, entering a competition, or named as a member of a team participating in a competition at any level within the UK is eligible for testing as part of UKAD’s national anti-doping programme. Any athlete eligible for testing can be tested anytime, anywhere.”

For boxing you can spar and do comps from 10 years old.
This is why they need to have a viable, clear, accurate test, as this ripples up and down each sport and needs backing by all governing bodies for all sports from the age they start to compete, unless of course you are okay with 10 yr olds girls with male chromosomes fighting other girls.
For contact sports, boxing, judo, taekwondo, karate etc all need tested as soon at they start sparing and or competing.
Peewee sports don't require blood testing at 10. When blood testing for performance enhancing drugs you can also start testing for chromosomes. If you don't want to submit to it you're treated the same as if you don't want to submit to random drug testing. Why are you trying to make it difficult? Nobody in the world thought that men should be allowed to compete competitively in women's sports until 5 years ago.
@Ladsin2 in this case they are not men, they are women. This is part of the problem, also it’s far longer than that, in football girls were banned from playing on boys teams ages ago and boys from girls teams. A number of school teams got in trouble for knowingly having girls playing.
You start at about 13 for enhancing drugs, but contact sports allow sparing from age 10, so there is a gap of 3 years without any tests.
@Ladsin2 oh so if they have periods, boobs, female sexual organs and a uterus, they are a guy. What level of XY? You may have solved what the global scientific community have tried to solve for sports and other activities. Well done, you nailed it
As you said the chat has dragged. Anyhow email the Olympics scientific drugs team and let them know.
What gametes do they possess? Yes, if a man cuts off his penis he's still a man. If a baby boy is born and his testes happened to not drop for some medical reason he's still a boy. If a man has a tragic accident where he loses his male appendage and as a result gets depressed, obese, and gets gynecomastia he's still a man. I find the need to make a simple issue a complex one strange. It's something I presume we only do because we are so affluent that no real problems stand before us. So we invent new ones. At this point though I think the conversation is pretty worn out. Nice talking to you.
There should be no biological men boxing biological women. That's how women get killed. It's not even a question if politics, it's a question of ethics. Some men get permanently disabled from taking punches to the head. If you have a man and woman of the same weight, the man is almost always going to have more muscle mass and bone density. I don't know how many times you've been punched in the head, but I've been punched in the head more times than most people. Women should not be getting punched in the head or anywhere else by a man.

Do you think that biological males should be fighting biological females? Please answer that question directly and don't try to change the subject.
You did not give a direct answer to the question I asked. I knew that you would avoid answering it.
Check the following as yes or no
Uterous
Chromosomes match woman
Boobs make milk
Has born a child
Has vagina
Has menstrault cycle
Has penis
Review data points. Make decision. Id err to the side of not a woman if there is doubt… for sake of sanity of people defined as women.
some people there said not female in prior reviews. how you know the truth? you trust the IOC... some don't. What are their rules.
Apparently some of the women don't think she's a woman either...
didn't she fail prior tests? Ots a question of rules? Same was issue in other sports even when person didn't win gold.
For a group of people who said they don't want any surveillance, they are sure interested in establishing a hell of a lot of it. Mostly for other people that they don't like.
From "show us your papers" to "show us your genitals"
Closer to A. He failed a gender test which is why everyone thinks he's a man. He's beating women at the international stage and it's unfair. I don't much care what people do in their day-to-day life, but when it comes to competition it's absurd to let men beat on women.
They can use the same technology they'll be using to track women's pregnancies.
I could tell he is a guy just by looking at him. He doesn't even have to be naked., How come nobody else can?
That's a male or a mutant, he should not be allowed to hit women, I am not from US.
And your proof?
And these? Are they male too?

what changed? she wasn't passed last year
liberals are calling for trans in the dictionary to mean only their definition.
The registry is the birth certificate. In the future the sex on the birth certificate shall be put in after a chromosome test.
No. This is a dude. I don’t need to hear the mumbo jumbo bluh bluh bluh. This is a dude. Didn’t belong. End
In previous interviews they weren't referred to as a woman.
The person failed a test to determine if they were eligible to compete as a female before.
