What makes humans think they are entitled to safety?

Our species would not survive without cooperation. We are not rattlesnakes who are solitary animals lol. Even the most psychopathic human being will go crazy in solitary confinement, that should show you how badly we need each other.

It's how humanity took over the globe. One hand washes the other. Our collective nature is how we created a government from there expanded. Now we have democracy and democracy build together.

It took 100,000s of people to create and then maintain the internet to even ask this question. So even stupid shit like this we are all in this together.

Because we pay taxes for security, and have a human right to self defense. If I didn't pay taxes, I wouldn't feel entitled to it, but I'd still have it by my own means.

Hell, probably further back than that really. We've had security (military guards, militias, cops, etc...) since civilizations first formed. Even if they sucked. Caveman days, basically.
