There won't be peace between Israel and Lebanon as long as Iranian proxy Hezbollah is a state within a state as Iran uses Lebanon to fight its battles. Lebanon deserves better than that.

We want a real country where all the parties and people are respected, a country where there is only one armed army which is the lebanese army and in the end i personally want to be a peacecful country with everyone because i want for myself and for others to live in peace and happiness cause we had enough wars and destruction, imagine how sad that people who are dieing are just becoming a number, where's the importance of a human's life, why would i want to hurt someone or cause pain to others?
I think that it's about time to bring the real good people to take the right positions and get rid of anyone who spreads satan's act onto others!

Sweep and clear until Hezbollah is a red stain. Let some Marines who are still pissed off about Beirut join the fun. Wreck the troops of Hezbollah, reinforce the legitimate government of Lebanon on the condition they continue to resist the insurgency and maintain their infrastructure for civilians.
I believe the term is COIN. Direct action is the least effective on guerilla fighters or insurgents. Study what the US did in Afghanistan and don't do that. If taking direct action kill everyone with a camera.
After that make a peace deal with the government of Lebanon, give Hezbolloh no place at the table, treat them, Hamas, and Iran like Bush and Obama treated Bin Laden. Granted that's all up to Israel. The US nor the UN should hold them back, just sell them weapons like always. We're giving Ukraine all kinds of goodies without a bill.

People who don't live in Lebanon think Hezbollah should simply be wiped out, but most Lebanese people are against this. Hezbollah has a lot of support in the country and they don't want another civil war.
@KostasKouvalis I'm sure they don't. How much of their country fled after the last one? Same with Iran after their civil war, massive brain drains their too besides just the numbers.

There isn't going to be any peace until only one is left standing.
There have probably been a hundred wars around the world in my lifetime. Wars come and they go. But not with Israel and it's neighbors. It's been non-stop my entire life. If it's not one group or country fighting it's another.
During my lifetime, those countries have had dozens of leaders combined. No matter who the leaders, no matter where the borders are drawn, no matter what kind of peace efforts are made, the fighting goes on and on.
The war goes on. The finger pointing goes on. The misinformation goes on. As long as someone is alive to pull a trigger or lob a grenade, the fighting goes on.
So what has changed that hasn't already happened many times over the past several decades?
The rest of the world should stop supporting both sides and let them fight it out.

I’ll be honest. I don’t think there’s a possibility for a peace deal. Things have escalated very much. All I can do is pray for the innocent people in Lebanon :( I just watched their homes get bombed in the southern suburb. Poor people. Imagine watching your home you probably saved up for your entire life get bombed like that.
It's really sad, because i'm against hurting innocent and unarmed citizens...

That's actually kind of true. As long as I can remember and my parents even, Arabs have always been fighting about something. If not with others, with each other. So yeah, I guess it's kind of expected and when it happens people are just like, "they're at it again". No one is surprised anymore. There can't seem to be any peace and stability in this region.

I agree about this, an agreement should be achieved completely so it can be useful, i believe if they had put some real efforts since the beginning, than none of this would of happened now...

Lebanon is a country which all its neighbours love. And have nothing bad to say about. On the other hand israel have problems with everyone in the region. Israel is like the drama queen of the middle east. The acceptable deal is for israel to return the parts its occupied from syria and lebanon. Golan and Shebaa Farms. And dont steal its neighbours lands and peace will come naturally
That's why it's necessary for everyone to sit together and reach a final peace deal supported by the majority of the U. N participants, the power is to reach a deal without a war, this shows that we are real humans and not animals who are just tearing each other apart just to say i'm the strongest and that i'm the king of the world...

Israel has shown proof of massive numbers of Lebanese homes having long range cruise missile launch equipment, mobile rocket launchers in huge garages and so on. If I'm israel I would want to burn all of that down and create a huge buffer zone. The allies did worse to German cities in WWIII than what Israel has done so far.

That is true, the lebanese official government doesn't want a war and is offering a deal to have the U. N 1701 decision fully done on land...
The U. N must assure that if this agreement is brought back on than it must be done 100%, because we as Lebanese who have nothing to do with hezbollah want a permanent peace and not a temporary one, plus we had enough from having a militia more powerful than the country and we want only the official army to be weaponized which is the lebanese army...

I'm living in a safe area till now because my region is all christians and i guess that the other side are well aware that we don't have anything to do with this war and that this militia brought so many problems to us before being in a fight with Israel, it's because their loyalty is to Iran and not to their country and who opposes them, they use force with them to shut them up...
I guess everyone is well aware of the Lebanese society structure...

It's the palestinians and israelis issue, in my opinion if i was in a position where i can be heard, i'll help both to reach an agreement just like any peaceful country does but won't interfere in their personal matters cause in the end it's up to them to reach a final deal...
