No, even tho we have a decent amount of control of our own lives, this control we have over ourselves isn't the only thing we need to get the results we seek for in life, there's many things that can get in the way or effect the results we seek for and even tho it's not all the time, if it's not because of our own choices it can be because of others choices or because of something we have no control over, if people really had full control, nobody would die because that would mean that the results we all aim for and that we all (for the most part) have in common, which is wanting to stay alive would be within our control as well, having the ability to make choices and think and act on things we choose doesn't mean full control.
yeah but people who are "unsuccessful" are constantly bullied
Perhaps, but society isn't always fully aware of how out of control life is and usually it's the more fortunate that judge others in less fortunate situations but even tho sometimes it's not the persons fault they are in that situation, for some it is.
No, of course not. You can do everything right and still lose. You can do everything wrong and still win.
@goaded
Such a brilliant and well thought out answer... It nicely sums everything up in a nutshell.
@EmmaMary Thank you! (Will it spoil it if I tell you the middle part was Picard's advice to Data?)
@goaded
