So this question was inspired by a user that asked if the presidential election was between Nikki Haley and Joe Biden would the Democrats/the left be supportive of Haley?

Personally and in my opinion, I do see some liberals/Democrats saying Haley is not supportive of women. Now here's the thing, Hayley conceived her children via IVF so it'll be interesting how they try to twist that story. Plus Nikki Haley's son in law is black, and she adores him, but I do see them spinning it saying she doesn't approve of the marriage/interracial marriage even though Haley who is a South Asian woman in an interracial marriage herself. So even if the election today was held between Nikki Haley and Joe Biden I do see the news people on MSNBC and CNN dogging her out because she's a Republican. But what are your thoughts on the issue and who would you vote for and why, if the election was between Nikki Haley and Joe Biden.

Also, want to give a shout out to the user that asked the question if he comes across this, cause dude you had me thinking and it actually made a great Fun Friday political discussion with me and my classmates on our group chat

I meant to add in my question and my apologies for this, but how do you think the Democrats/liberals would spin this. I said they'll probably say she doesn't support woman cause of the party she's affiliated with. But how will the spin it?

Summary of my answer for those that just can’t read the whole thing: I cast ballot to President Biden, Nikki Haley wins in the end.

I’d cast my ballot to President Joe Biden personally though I would sleep peacefully about the election since in this hypothetical she crushed Donald Trump in the primaries and completely is Anti-Trump moving the party away from the previous disgrace I supported in 2016.

In my opinion the first debate would still happen the way it did, so just a small pivot if you will… Joe Biden steps down and Kamala Harris runs against Nikki Haley, that would’ve been an interesting race. Also I want to point out “first party to get rid of their elderly candidate wins the election”(paraphrasing though near a 1:1) so the election would go to Nikki Haley based on that prediction. Since Democrats in the real reality did it first, it gives them an edge especially when focusing on real policy platform basis (I’d vote Kamala Harris though the race would still lean to Nikki Haley in this hypothetical)

Just me having my own fun with this alternate history thing.

Haley's support came almost exclusively from never-Trumpers and Democrats voting in the GOP primaries who more than likely would not have voted for her in the actual election. She had virtually no other voter excitement from the base or actual moderates/independents if you can even call it that, which would also likely translate to an election loss. She was justifiably seen as a Bush/Cheney Republican, which is far out of favor with voters.

That said, I would have voted for Haley because even though Christie was the only worse option by the time of the debates, she's still a lesser of evils compared to Biden's administration, and every criticism I have of her would still apply to the Democrats. That's also why she'd be very easy for them to beat.

As for how the left machine would spin it... Honestly, they could say anything they wanted. They already make sh*t up out of thin air when they don't have something to remove out of context, and constantly project their own bullsh*t onto the Republicans. Since Haley is a RINO, the projection method would probably even work better, and Haley folds like a lawn chair under embarrassment, so it would stick while her campaign cries victim.

What is funny about your hypothetical question is that the deep state told Democrats that democracy wasn’t an option. And the sad part is that Democrats accepted the fact that democracy wasn’t an option. Everyone hates Kamala, but the Democrats will always bow to their masters. They did it in 2020 and they’re doing it now in 2024.

The Democrats are saying that they're trying to save and protect the American people's democracy. But like you said it's kinda ironic if you think about it, cause Harris wasn't even nominated. Haley actually went through and tried to get nominated. They saw show was failing after his last debate with Trump, got rid of him, and put in Kamala. So no one really voted for Harris. It's almost like our vote didn't count.

Also, there's been talk around my homestate (Alabama) that they're going to try to get Harris in via cheating in this election. So we shall see what happens

I will tell you one thing, I voted for Nikki and I'll admit that. But I didn't vote for Harris. Also, Nikki has spoke out about a lot of women issues, and told the American people what she hoped to do (repeat she said hoped). Harris is telling the American people she's going to give 25k here, 6k here, 30k here, build all these homes for illegal immigrants, and I'm like, ummm Kamala, where is all this money going to come from and why are trying to raise the taxes.
