Well... If being weaker is an "antisocial behaviour" and iure caduco is "normality", then I agree. However, both of the statements are false. The only thing the bullies taught me is that the world is about survival of the fittest. And if I had a chance to get my hands on a gun at that time, it's actually likely I would become a school shooter, since guns tend to outclass fists and knives, therefore according to their own mindset I would be righteous as long as they would be the ones to die (it was just in primary school - and yeah, some of the bullies did bring knives to school). Once I went to a Christian middle and high school, where bullying was strictly forbidden and actually cracked down on, I pretty much discovered a new, safer world of plentiful opportunity. I even succeeded in making friends there.

However, I'm still keeping a few lessons I took from the bullies in my mind. The first one would be: "You will be either strong or dead. Get hold of any power You are capable of wielding." The second, a bit worse since I'm supposed to be a merciful Catholic, is: "Think at least twice before showing mercy. Most people will take advantage of You and hurt You after receiving mercy from You." Therefore, as You can see, it was actually bullying that made me antisocial... or at least "selectively social". That is why I can never agree that bullies are the good guys and bullying is meant to combat antisocial behaviours.

In my experience with my kids in school, the bullies now get a free pass and any student who stands up for themselves is labeled the bully and police are called in.

For example;

Johnny disrupts the teacher. Johnny kicks James when the teacher is watching. Johnny shoves James out of the line. Johnny smashes James' art project. Johnny won't let James on the swings. Johnny takes the ball from James.

James' mother meets with the teacher and principal with her concerns. She's told that they are working with Johnny and that he is really a good kid who just needs extra help.

Johnny won't let James wash his hands in the bathroom. James yells at Johnny and the teacher hears a commotion. James' mother is called in and told that Johnny feels threatened by James and it won't be tolerated.

Johnny yanks James' backpack off his shoulders. James hits Johnny. The school and Johnny's parents want to press assault charges against James.

What fucked up society is the government not letting parents raise and discipline their own children.. They put woman to work, raised prices on everything so that the women have to and other people are raising their children and then made it illegal to hit your own kids. You have to "talk to them" even though most kids don't listen to words.. then once they are teenagers and have no sense of fear of their parents or other adults and love to talk back.. People wonder what happened to society and why it it is over run with rude retarded people.

Even more, I think the people who were victims of it or bystanders to it, on some level, wish THEY had that power, and in some cases have grown up and have let those repressed feelings lead them to political ideologies based around aggression and essentially “bullying” in various theaters of life, and like riding sidecar with the bullies of politics because it gives them assurance they won’t be targeted, and maybe even enjoy rooting on some of the bullying.

It's BS. Bullying is parasitic survival strategy. A bully gains positive social point by uninvolved observers while bullied individual is despised for weakness. Of course there are limits especially on physical level, but when the bully respects some social rules the bully can't lose.
Some parts of human nature are illogical and rather self-destructive, sympathy for the bully is such part.

I survived it but still hate the bullies but it was a learning experience because in real life you will still see it in a different way and it teaches you to stand up for yourself but now kids are too sensitive and weak to do that in life and become anti social and alone
