Fema does a VERY difficult and thankless job. When things go 100% correctly that's meeting standards. They're not omniscient or omnipotent. If more is needed there's channels for that.

I don't understand nor does it make sense what I'm hearing. SCREW americans... if they don't have flood insurance... TO HELL WITH THEM, it's their problem... even when it's a "natural disaster". not saying thats a fact, but it's what Im hearing in this video. However, we'll spend billions on other important things... like free $ to Intel, GM, Stellantis, Ukraine, people that cross the border, lots of poor countries.
Given natural disasters and the climate change... we are all at risk and might want to think about our priorities.
