Anyone who opens up with such a stupid sentences like "diversity chief" obviously has a political bias and is not interested in being correct.
Secondly she is a 33+ year veteran in the fire department and has an impressive resume. I trust her words as a subject matter expert and I also agree with things such as civilians relating to the people that responds to their distress. In fact, it has become a major issue with police that people no longer trust and relates to them which as impacted their ability to perform their job.
Lastly, before someone jumps in. If she can't carry your man out of a burning building then probably no fire fighter can. She is a veteran and she is also a top athlete from her collage. She is at a far higher physical standard than your average fire fighter.
So yeah.. maybe stop trying to push bullshit on us?133 Reply- 1 y
So, to be a "good" liberal you have to tap into your childhood and summon your ability to play make-believe. When a guy says he is a woman, your brain automatically snaps to attention in order for you to NOT be politically incorrect. Why don't you feel fake? Untrue to yourself even?
- 1 y
@Dongie Well, the truth is that there is no biological basis for a strict male/female divide. Biology does not do absolutes like that, it likes to mix things together and it also makes a lot of mistakes.
If you want me to live my life in "reality and truth" then that involves accepting gender as a social construct and nothing more. - 1 y
@Dongie No, its in fact the only logical conclusion even if you ignore the evidence and just focus on how the process works.
Evolution is the product of pure random chance. Not only that, but every living being is unique and pursuing their own evolutionary path. How long do you think it would take for evolution to screw up your "perfect" man/woman separation? 100 years? 1000 years? 1 million years? 1 BILLION years perhaps?
No, the very idea that something has survived until now without being corrupted and perverted through evolution is statistically impossible, not to mention that it persists independently throughout nearly all species.
What you believe in is insane. - 1 y
@Dongie Well, assuming you are a Christian. Your bible is a complete lie and we have proof of it being written and edited by a lot of people over the years for their own corrupt reasons. We also know where Judaism (and by extension Christianity) originates from including stealing things to put into Genesis and such.
- 1 y
@Dongie In fact, just for fun ill link you to one of the more interesting videos on the subject I have found.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlnnWbkMlbg
I dont expect you to watch it or the rest of the series its part of obviously but never say I did not do anything nice for you. - 1 y
@Dongie Ah yes, I linked you someone else's video because I wanted you to listen to me. Totally makes sense.
Besides, I made a claim that the bible is garbage which is something you can confirm yourself. The information is not hidden or secret by any means. Furthermore, I made the claim that the Christian God is just an idea stolen from previous religions which is also something that you can easily just check yourself.
Nothing I am saying here is new or controversial even. You just never bothered to ask anyone with honest interest in finding out the truth or took it up on yourself to find it yourself. You are too comfy with your own personal delusions and convenient explanations for how the big scary world works. - 1 y
Well, here, answer this.

@Dongie
First claim: That evolution lacks evidence and that there is more evidence for a designer.
That is patently absurd. Science is built on the scientific method. Every theory, such as evolution, has a backbone of scientific studies that examines evidence as well as experimentation that predicts results and then verifies them. There are no such evidence for a designer.
Second claim: The "law of biogenisis" which has first of all nothing to do with evolution and is not a law. Furthermore its actually called "Spontaneous generation" and it is a debunked science we believed in like the 1800's. The modern theory of the origin of life is called Abiogenesis and it explains how life can be created from non-life however it is impossible to know at this point which exact method life on earth was created in as there are several ways it could in theory have happened.
Third claim: Mutation can only "Lose" information. This is also not true, although it would still debunk your claim of genders but I digress. Point is that this is just a matter of perspective. If a species develops mutations then they obviously moves further away from what makes them that species but towards something else. If I slowly replace all the words in the Bible with those from a book of Harry Potter then there is technically not a loss of information but the information has changed into something else. Furthermore, mutations can also add more random information to your DNA. Its not like there is a realistic restriction for how long those things can be, you can just keep adding onto them if you want and some species has way longer DNA strings than us with way more information contained within. - 1 y
@Dongie Fourth claim: Evolution can only choose from whats there. Even if that was true, that would be plenty enough. Everything in nature is still just made up of the few basic building blocks of life. Things like proteins or whatever. What you think are major leaps such as developments of eyes or the brain is just different arrangements of the same basic blocks that was always there. That said, evolution is perfectly capable of creating new things too so this is a baseless claim in the first place.
Fifth claim: That the eye is so complex that even we could never have designed something like that, much less evolution. Dude.. The eye is a DEEPLY flawed creation. If you tried to sell someone a camera with the same specifications as the human eye then you would be laughed out of the room. Not to mention that the human eye is technically evolved to see UNDER WATER. If it was not for your brain processing the image given by your eyes then it would borderline be useless. Things like removing your nose from your vision or brushing over the fact that you can only see clearly in the center of your vision. And this is not to mention our reliance on correcting for our eyes such as glasses and eye surgery.
Sixth claim: How the human body can heal itself. Yes, the human body is pretty good at healing itself.. until it isent.. Putting aside that instead of regrowing our skin properly, like some other species does, our body instead just slaps on some "scar tissue" which NEVER HEALS and calls it a day. Or how it can fuck up healing and just kill us. - 1 y
@Dongie Seventh Claim: If evolution was true we would have millions of "in-between" creatures moving around. No, we would not. Natural selection is ruthless in that regards. Every species fills a niche where they compete for space and resources. Every species that is similar will compete for the same resources and space so if one is better and therefore wins, then the other one dies. We were better than our ancestors were at what they did so now they are dead because they could no longer compete. There is no trophy for being 2nd best in natural selection.
Eight claim: All of the "in-between" fossils can fit in her Prius. She must have a pretty fucking big Prius then since every fossil is an "in-between" fossil. My father is the in-between between me and my grandparent. Times that by every human skeleton in the world and then times that by every ancestral species skeletons we have found and you get a nice little pile. This argument of "in-between" fossils is just a pathetic attempt to move the goalpost because there will always be another "gap" that they demand we fill until we can prove an uninterrupted line of ancestry from mother to mother all the way back to the beginning of life. It is stupid. - 1 y
@Dongie Ninth claim: You must be wrong because, and I quote "I just don't understand how all of this started"... yeah... that is a you problem.
Tenth and final claim ill address: How the Earth is "just the right distance from the sun" to sustain life. Once again, this is not evolution but ill answer it anyways. To put it bluntly, this is stupid. Lets just analyze this as simply as possible. Either Earth allows for life to exist, which results in us existing and asking this question. Or, Earth does not allow us to exist and we will never ask this question. The very fact that we exist here today must mean that the Earth, no matter how unlikely it might be, can sustain life. Literally 100% chance of Earth supporting life if we exist. Furthermore, of course we are perfectly adapted to live on Earth, that is the whole point of evolution. If we were not well adapted to live here then something else would have taken our place and we would have gone extinct like so many species before us. - 1 y
You're pretty boring, no insult, just fact. It just happens that I ran into that video after hopping over to utube. Wasn't looking for it, but I thought you might have fun with it.
Do you believe history other than what the Bible speaks of? How do you suppose Jesus rose from death? The Roman's have this in their history writings. 500 people witnessed He leaving the earth on His rise toward heaven. - 1 y
@Dongie There are basically only two events that can be correlated between Jesus of the bible and historical records. His baptism and his crucifixion. Everything else is unsubstantiated. Likewise most of the bible has nothing to do with real history.
And you were the one who asked me to respond to a video that rapid-fire very boring arguments. Its not my fault that they did not touch on something more interesting. - 1 y
Yeah, true this thing God created. He certainly has it so a person must first display faith in order to receive His presence. I keep forgetting that He chose the individual and not the other way around.
Oh, fortunate me. I certainly do not deserve His mercy but I'm certainly happy to have it!
Hallelujah!! - 1 y
@Dongie So the all-powerful god who supposedly made me in his image and supposedly loves me and even tried to offer me salvation by sacrificing his only son, which is himself, to himself, refuses to reveal his presence to me unless I choose to believe in him?
Yeah.. I am gonna have to doubt that one. Besides, he wants to offer me eternity of happiness in heaven. I literally can't imagine anything more horrific than such a fate. Even hell is preferable since there is at least a point where God in your faith comes down and destroys hell when he rebuilds the earth. A temporary torture in hell is not nearly as horrific as eternity of happiness in heaven.
