Trump administration is to conduct immigration enforcement actions — like raids and arrests — at a handful of churches, temples and other places of worship.

It was already been blocked by a federal judge Theodore Chuang from Maryland, although the order issued by the judge applies only to the facilities used by a handful of Quaker and Baptist churches and Sikh temples that sued last month.

Freedom of worship is freedom to THINK what you believe, not the freedom to do whatever you want. E. g., Coptics are not immune from laws regulating marijuana (where such laws continue to exist.) A church which professed a belief in human sacrifice would not be immune from the criminal laws relating to murder.

There are twenty million illegals that need to be deported. There is no federal law that says ICE agents cannot go into churches or schools in the execution of their duties. They made the decision to come here illegally so too bad if it is while they are in church.

Trump’s executive order removed Biden-era restrictions on immigration enforcement at ‘sensitive locations’ like churches and schools, allowing law enforcement to conduct raids if necessary. However, the claim that raids are actively targeting temples and churches as a policy is not accurate.

A federal judge partially blocked the enforcement of this order, but only for a handful of Quaker, Baptist, and Sikh congregations that sued. This ruling does NOT apply to all places of worship, nor does it overturn the policy entirely.

Framing this as ‘Trump conducting raids on temples’ is dishonest. The policy is about preventing criminals from exploiting churches and schools as hiding places—not about targeting religious institutions.

You're suppose to be subject to the governing authorities... So long as you are treated justly, and not persecuted for your religious beliefs I don't see the issue. Illegal aliens are law breakers. They are being held accountable for their actions and being sent home in a human way. They aren't being persecuted for their belief in God.
