Well, to try to keep it non-political, I have to keep the way Trump is going about it out of the equation. It’s not so much THAT he’s doing it, it’s HOW he’s doing it, the energy he’s doing it with, and the message that sends to American people about what constitutes decency. I think the manner in which it’s being done and the mood of it all is really and truly disgusting on a human level.

Crossing the border illegally, in my mind, is traffic violation level shit, in and of itself. I’m more of an “Earth citizen” than an American. Everywhere belongs to all of us. I think it’s funny how Trump talks about the Mexican border, and building walls, and how heinous it is entering illegally….. and then he turns around, and when he’s in his more friendly-toned pitch about making Canada the 51st state (LMFAO), he talks about how the border is just a silly imaginary line, so what are we even quibbling about here?🤦‍♂️😂 I actually agree with that, humans are the only animal that even pay attention to any of that shit, it’s totally man-made, and nothing man-made can ever be truly valid.

Anyway…. even within the context of more conventional thought about countries and borders, illegal crossings are a thing that happen that you just need to manage. America’s problem, despite what most of the public seems to think, is much more about logjammed asylum adjudication. That bipartisan border bill that Trump had killed so it could remain a problem for him to campaign on, a huge part of that was to appoint a ton of judges for that very purpose, to expedite adjudication, and then these folks aren’t sitting around for months or over a year awaiting hearings, and then you can much more quickly decide whether they can stay or if you deport them. That’s why we have these backlogs, and that leads to all the housing of them in motels that everyone is complaining about. If you just have enough judges, you can probably spin them around in 30 days or less, and it’s off your hands one way or the other.

The biggest thing I don’t like is the characterization of them as criminals, I think that is WILD propaganda. I was saying somewhere else, with all due respect to Laken Riley, R. I. P. and all that🙏, the Laken Riley Act is the Laken Riley Act because that shit hasn’t really happened to many people besides Laken Riley. But to have them tell it, undocumented immigrants are just raping and murdering people left and right.

So people aren’t really approaching the situation with the correct information, they’re being told that all of them are violent criminals, which is just so unbelievably untrue. There are SOME, for sure. And you can ship them RIGHT the fuck outta here with my compliments. I don’t think anybody is advocating for taking in new citizens who are known menaces to society, lmao. And that goes hand in hand with quick adjudication. They get in front of a judge, the judge goes “oh, you’re in MS-13? Oh ok…. bailiffs, take him away, don’t let the door hit him in the ass.”, and it’s done with. Everyone else, take it case by case, have your limits on numbers, it’s all fine.

But these people aren’t animals, so don’t treat them as such, that’s my whole thing.

If they are working, have families, contribute to society, and haven’t caused any problems there is no reason to deport them. Not only is it immoral but it’s also stupid to deport them when they often benefit the US. From what I’ve seen the reasonings for “mass” deportation are either biased, stupid, show clear signs of brainwashing, or a mix of all 3.
