Are wars always fought over money, land or resources?

I live here in the United States and unfortunately my country is possibly the single most war-making country on the entire planet and it has been since its inception since about 250 years ago. It has been engaged in wars almost continuously since that time, mainly because of our economy which is capitalism. Capitalism demands a constant inflow of money and consumption of goods and the way we make that happen is by starting wars almost continuously. The result of this is that our standard of living is really low. Our education system is terrible and we essentially have no health Care system that functions yet we put up with this. Why is that? I have no real answer but maybe you do.

Absolutely just look at the Ukraine war. The US along with Europe encouraged Ukraine to join NATO knowing that Russia would invade if they tried. Meanwhile Russia has occupied donbass & Crimea, Ukraine is destroyed, hundreds of thousands dead and the war unwinnable for Ukraine. US companies have seen record profits in yet another very profitable war for us companies.

If you look at most us wars there's usually a false flag operation or outright lie to get the war started.

2003 Iraq invasion. Sadam had WMDs. The result being US companies paid trillions to rebuild Iraq paid for by Iraqi oil sold to China. Us companies make trillions selling arms and from deploying us mercenaries.

2001. Invasion of Afghanistan. CIA & FBI watch alqueda members board planes. Afghanistan gets invaded and the taliban gets ousted for 20 years. Billions spent on security.

1991 Gulf War. Sadam invades Kuwait because kuwaitis are stealling iraqi oil, CIA tells him its OK to invade which he does. Bush Sr launches a war to push sadam out of Kuwait. Result is that US military gets to test their weapons technology on an on paper powerful middle east military armed by the Soviets. Result is us companies make billions. US gains a strategic foothold in the middle east influencing Arab governments keeping them away from Iran as well as military bases. Kuwait becomes completely pro American. US intervention in the Gulf War and us troops and bases in Muslim countries would later lead to 9/11.

You can keep going through this all the way back to the bay of tonkin incident, pearl harbour and the sinking of the uss make in the spainish American War. The arab spring is another one. Not American but the October 7th attack was something similar, they knew it was going to happen and they just let it to give them enough outrage and justification to do what they are doing now.

The USS liberty incident was possibly an attempted false flag operation by the CIA & Israelis to bring the us into their war against Egypt but because the ship didn't sink and the Israeli military at that stage was wiping the floor with Egypt and Syria by that stage US intervention wasn't needed.

If you want to see what is happening and why it is happening you look at how it benefits America and American companies.

I didn't lesson their value. I only hinted at unlike animals humans make their extra choices as available to them. They allow the ultra rich to have their way. Everyone else is the majority, but Americans are too lazy to stand up and mass protest what is clearly theft (s) of the population on grandiose scale.

Yes and I'd also add wars are fought over religion. Iraq and Afghanistan are prime example of wars fought over resources, oil was a big driving force for war with Iraq and poppy seeds which are used in opioid production was part of the driving force for the war in Afghanistan. Ukraine war is a prime example of a war being fought over money, land and resources, defense contractors get money through weapons sales, while other western corporations benefit from loan stipulations that require Ukraine to sell off government land and other resources. Really the only way to stop these wars for profits/resources, is for everyone across the the political spectrum to stop being toxic towards everything and focus on taking down the Military Industrial. In order to deal with toxicity, BOTH parties/sides have to acknowledge/admit toxicity exist on their side/party. I used to be a Democrat and left the party because fellow Democrats have become extremely toxic, especially against those who refuse to support the failed proxy war in Ukraine, which is unfortunate as being anti-war is part of the reason I became a Democrat.

No I think you have it wrong. Trump is actively trying to figure out a way to make money for himself off the war in Ukraine. That is what he does with almost everything. He's also trying to figure out a way to balance the disgust that most people have with the money that is being poured into Ukraine to support their war that the United States started in the first place and is obsessed with making sure that that disdain doesn't blow back on him.

So far, his stance has been about de-escalation and pushing for peace talks, rather than continuing the endless funding that many Americans are frustrated with. If anything, his opposition to sending unlimited aid suggests the opposite of what you’re claiming. It’s easy to accuse someone of corruption, but without proof, it’s just speculation.

Every once in a while you'll get a war fought over ideology, but it's pretty hard to get people motivated enough to kill each other over ideas. Being able to justify a war is important

Economics, resources, etc provide an easier justification.
