1 yEnd them, yes. Successfully, no.
Ending a war, period, is not a victory. Ending a war where the good guys win and the bad guys lose is a victory. And there’s a concerted effort in America to convince us Ukraine is the bad guy. I’ll give Trump TONS of credit if he gets Russia to abandon all occupied Ukrainian territory and just go home, or else. That’s the only way to win. Anything short of that is a colossal, historic diplomatic failure.
And I think he knows he can’t accomplish that, so he needs to spin the narrative so that he’ll look like a hero to the uninformed. He’s SUPER triggered that Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize, and I swear he thinks he’s in the running for one, which is just laughable.
I’m no war monger, but this is one of those rare moments in history that requires a call to arms from the decent people in the world. This isn’t a situation to throw your hands up and just say “welp, sometimes there are just wars, and territory is gained or lost. It is what it is.” We HAVE TO be working towards evolving past that, as humans. It’s 2025, for crying out loud. It’s not the Ghengis Khan era, lmao. At some point we have to say “the maps are drawn, the borders are decided upon, stop trying to change the map”, and back down anyone and everyone who attempts anything to the contrary. And given our size and power, it’s incumbent upon America to take a top role in ensuring that stops. Never negotiate with terrorists.
Gaza is a little trickier because there are assholes on both sides of the table. October 7th the other year was HORRIFIC. Absolutely warranted to strike back on that. But it’s also important to remember why Arabs are mad at Israelis in the first place. Netanyahu is a terrorist in his own right, he’s literally a wanted war criminal, which doesn’t usually amount to much in reality, but the shoe definitely fits.
The only right answer there is a two-state solution, and turning Gaza into a real estate development project, by way of ethnic cleansing, AIN’T IT. Again, we’re cozying up to some of the biggest assholes on the planet. Why we want to be friends with these people, I don’t understand it.

Oh, also meant to include: Palestinians =/= Hamas…. the target is supposed to be Hamas, not the Palestinians themselves. And we just make up whatever bullshit we need to to justify killing them anyway. “Hamas are hiding behind them for cover!” Ok, then missile strikes can’t be the way you attack then. Come up with something else where the innocent are spared.

1 yTrump is only a mediator. He might also throw in some enticements to both sides. But Putin and Zelenskyy are the only ones who can end that war.
Both sides want the war to end. But both sides also want to win.
What Europe and other supporters of Ukraine will do is an unknown. A lot will hinge on whether the two sides think support for Ukraine will increase, decrease, or stay the same. Two out of three of those favor Russia. The one that favors Ukraine is unlikely to be enough to really make a difference.
The whole thing heavily favors Russia. Trump knows that and Putin knows that. I'm sure Zelensky knows it also, even though he refuses to admit it.
I said from the start that the west, especially Europe, will not be willing to do what it takes to kick Russia out. Continuing to do what's been done will only prolong the stalemate and continue getting thousands of people killed.
Everyone knows the cards on the table, and they favor Russia. So the most likely end to the war will favor Russia. At the very least Russia will probably keep Crimea. They will probably keep some other territory also. That is the most likely, but not only, scenario for ending the war.
Trump can negotiate and bribe/threat to get the two sides to quit fighting - but only if THEY agree to, and only in Europe doesn't throw in a wildcard.
Trump might also throw in some bribes to get Russia to leave. They would have to be VERY good bribes that favor Russia enough to pull out. They would also have to allow Putin to save face. The short answer is that I think Trump will negotiate an end to the war, but it might not be a good end. Then the big question is what Russia will do next. Has Putin and whoever is behind him tired of war? Or will the just find another target?
Another big question is whether this mini-cold war can end. The cold war ended 30 years ago, but it's been starting back up. It needs to stop before it gets out of hand again. The world can't afford another cold war like we had before.20 Reply
3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No. He puts more fuel into genocide in Gaza and Putin won't comply to Trump's offers.
Only China and EU can resolve conflict in Ukraine, we all know US has a "big blue ocean between" and has no real interest in stopping war in Ukraine since it generates weapons sells. Most Israelis have enough of losing thousands of population for ambitions of few radical politicians like Netanyahu just to obtain few square kilometer land. Politically a conflict where an army bombs and kills civilians to steal their land is already lost and I don't think 15x70km stripe of land with the name Gaza is really worth to be hated over next few decades.

Anonymous(18-24)1 yUkraine has already lost Zelensky's war, it's just a question of how long Zelensky can remain in power and how many dead Ukrainians before Ukraine is forced to give up.
Gaza is a land grab by Israel. It will end when Israel wants it to end. They've very successfully been able to manipulate, Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah into doing what they wanted giving them the justification for the Gaza war.

Not funding Zelensky opens door for Putin to discuss peace ☮️.. Putin cannot push forward.. Russian People will definitely disagree with his decision.. if Ukraine stops attacking..
Regarding Gaza, The situation is complex , Trump cannot stop that..
That war at Gaza is beyond Trumps power , it's the War of the Second coming of Jesus, the Messiah of Jews..
Hamas attacked because, Jews brought 5 Red heifer for the Consecration ceremony of their third temple.. to be Built..
And prophecy says that on that third temple, Jesus will Decent from sky on a white horse..
Trump can Try to pause that war, But Islamic People Won't, they will fight to take control of Israel and Gaza so that the third temple of Jews cannot be built!..
One thing is Clear, Islamic sects Believe in that Prophecy more that Christian and Jews, regarding arrival of Jesus or next Messiah..
Jews are in control of Technology and political power around the world Vs Islamic people have Explosively Breeded into Number..
This War of Gaza will Catch even more fire , when Jews start building their Third Temple.. and will become WORLD WAR 3 , as Predicted By ALBERT PIKE, a war Between "Political Zionist Vs Islamic States". Most probably during 2029-2032..

1 yHe doesn't have the guts.
Gaza/Israel would be easy: a few nukes dropped there and we have a final solution - happily ever after. A ''good reason'' will be found; ''friendly fire'', perhaps.
Ukraine is a little more difficult... Tchernobyl already showed a limited effect in this respect. But to re-activate the idea of Gulag's may do the trick. Guantanamo was a good testing ground.
The American master-race will succeed in all possible scenarios.
They are the best, the greatest, the fastest, the strongest and the richest.
And as the Holy Chief of all Americans (and of those to become) is bigly motivated to perform the tremendous deed of...
Making America Great again, and
''if necessary, more total and radical than anything that we can yet today even conceive?''
(*audience applauds, Trumptler raises his right arm*)
(*synchronised with Musk's arm*)
... theoretically only, because...
guts, you know.

1 yI doubt that he will end the war. He is a businessman, and he only thinks about business and not the well-being of the people. If he is getting profits, he is interested, but if not, then he is either out or helping the other party.
It also impacts others, like China sees it as an opportunity to take over Taiwan or any other country because according to what's happening right now, if he takes over Taiwan or any other country, Trump will take action if it's beneficial, and if not, then he won't bother.10 Reply
1 yRealistically no matter the outcome for the people there he will believe he did on any case. So 100% chance he will claim he did even if nothing changes or someone else fixes it. It hard to fix the world when no one around you tells you that you are wrong.

1 ythats a toughie and always was a long shot.
I think he will draw an end. Question is if it sticks. The big problem would be the politics shifting left again, going back to the same political thinking that created the problem. Trump can possibly bring stability with Russia... as have others. But then most of the left/Europe aggravate.
And by then, they are all more well armed. It could go very bad, lets hope it goes well.
10 Reply 5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes, until the next administration anyway. Id also add the war (or whatever you want to call it) in Congo against Rwandan-backed insurgents to the list.
Ukraine may end up having a lasting peace depending on the terms, or it could set the stage for a round 3 the next time the US has weak and corrupt leadership in power. Gaza never lasts for more than a decade, and that's under loose interpretation of "peace."

1 yI think it might work out. He seems to be on decent terms with Putin. The war is just throwing away a bunch of innocent lives. And honestly those that lost their family to the war will not likely forgive the other any time soon. That's just how war is. A nonsensical chain of hatred.
10 Reply 27.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think that he will get Ukraine and Russia together and they will somehow come up with a peace agreement.
I am less hopeful about Gaza. The Palestinians will never give up their hatred of the Jews and Israel will end up finishing the job. It is what it is.10 Reply937 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Well it’s either one or the other
Both wars are ongoing right now because of the ongoing competition for the who wins the modern silk road
And I doubt the US will invest too much in ending both of them10 Reply- 6.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
