Point being though, is that Hamas committed animosities against Israel raping and torturing civilians and posted videos on the internet mocking the people of Israel. The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) speaks to the triune God you see in the new testament and presents Israel as being the chosen people to bring forth the Messiah. When the Messiah came, much of Israel followed him and that became Christianity. It's one religion. Those among Israel who rejected the Messiah for whatever reason spun off Rabbinic Judaism and lost their way. While the Jews (Judah) share the same God as the Christians, they are holding to the old covenant waiting for the Messiah they missed. Islam directly contradicts the Tanakh and The Gospel of Jesus. Hamas is partially a terrorist organization. Their job is to make the government go too far in retaliation and therefore lose their good will. The fact that you highlight how people all around the world have now turned against Israel shows how they have succeeded at least to some degree. Also, they are terrorists. They do not want to protect citizens and if Israel displaces and hurts Palestinians then they are more likely to support Hamas so that just a bonus from their point of view.
