While I do not think it was as bad as it is made up to seem, posting a photoshopped picture won't really do much.

Yes, he was not the only one in blue. No, your picture does not match real time footage.

It should not be made a big deal. He was there. Did nothing bad. That counts as paying respect and is enough.

Blowing it out of proportion or faking pictures to fight back against the allegations is both silly.

I give the Vatican credit. So that Trump and Zelensky didn't sit next to each other and detract from the funeral, leaders sat in alphabetical order via their country's name in French. United States is Etats Unis in French.
by the way, Trump and Prince William (and others) wore blue, which is a common thing to do to indicate they are not Roman Catholic, yet still paying respect to Francis.
