I'm going to go with the fact that two masters degrees and avoiding getting stabbed, shot, arrested, or killed is proof of Street smarts

I should be both though I still consider it's the first type.

Reading and researching are my favorite hobby. So this can be called book smart.

To me, street smart is more about people. How to be understanding and empathetic something like that. As well as, how to say safe when you're out in public. E. g. not walking around, dressing half-naked to get wrong attention.
