Most of “life as we know it” in terms of humanity, is a huge misstep caused by our own selfishness. None of this is some inevitable manifested destiny. Certainly since The Industrial Revolution…. all wrong.

There aren’t supposed to be this many humans, we shouldn’t be living this long, and life on Earth isn’t “humanity first and everything else here exists to sustain us or sustain that which gives us sustenance.”

Earth isn’t the stage for The Human Beings Show, we’re no more or less important than ants, crows, horses, hippos, rabbits, whatever. We just THINK we are. So most of what we do and our justifications for doing so are completely wrong, and we should rightly be closer to caveman life than modern life.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn’t mean it’s ok to do it and that you should, even if it makes you more comfortable, safe, productive, or whatever. We’ve stepped outside of our lane horrifically, to the detriment of ourselves and everything else. We are the greatest pest species to ever infest Earth.

More opinions is not necessarily a good thing and the marketplace of ideas heavily benefits from gatekeeping.

I think that Democracies need to be rigorously selective about who they allow to be involved in their decision-making processes and they need to readily expel people who aren't up to the task. The reality is that there is a meaningful portion of the population that would be happy (and disturbingly ready) to trade away their freedom and autonomy for the comforts of having someone tell them what to do.

The entire point of a democracy is that the people tell the government what to do. People who neither want nor can handle that responsibility simply aren't a good fit. So why would we give those people a voice? They don't even want it.

That black people are impoverished not because socioeconomics, racism etc but because they blow every penny they get on overpriced consumer products, take loans they can't afford and don't save or invest for their future all to look like a baller.

That British people aren’t the ugliest nation. Women like Elizbaeth Hurley, Catherine Zeta Jones, Gemma Styles and Rachel Hurd-Wood are of British (English/irish/scottish/ welsh) ethnicity and many people think they are pretty.

Jesus wasn't the Messiah. There several reasons why not and I believe them. I'm not a Jew or even religious at all it's just from what I've learned about the Messiah from the rabbis I've talked to and my own research shows he could never be. The Romans just used the myth of Jesus to make money and control people. The Romans switched from worshiping many gods to one God because it was cheaper to have a few festivals a year for one God than many festivals a year for many gods. Christianity to me is the greatest scam ever pulled.

And... well, you know, I don't know how unpopular a lot of my opinions really are. The cultural winds have changed a lot over the last few years (or at least they seem to have). But the two I listed above are probably consistently unpopular.
