What do you think about the plane crash in India that killed 241 people?

That was a weird crash - the plane seemed to have a positive rate of climb for 23 seconds into the video, then stopped climbing at 24, and began descending at 25. I am trying to figure out what would cause this, and all I can think of would be too much weight, or - very unlikely - loss of power in all or nearly all of the engines. A jammed elevator seems unlikely since the nose was at a normal angle for a climb-out, and it didn't look like a spin/stall accident at least on the video. If they recover the flight recorder in a usable condition, I will be very interested in what they find.

This is rather sad. As I age and hear more and more about the helplessness of being a victim of air crashes, I sense less and less desire to fly
