Should their be a law where paternity test should become a default whenever a child is being born?

We see many cases of children being born we without knowing who their father or mother is. This is happening all around the world.

To me that's completely unacceptable. Every child should have the right to know who both of his parents are and therefore I find it necessary that it should be astablished at birth whether people like it or not. For the sake of the child people should be forced to give off their dna to be able to do a test in the case if its unknown who the real parents of the child are.

This also makes it more difficult to traffic children that aren't registered

How are you gonna do that though? How many men do you need to ask the dna of to know which is the father of the child if the mother refuse to give out the name? Also I doubt the father would be happy to have to pay child support if he did not know he had a child and more than likely did not want one.

Whether the father is happy or not is irrelevant he should take responsibility for his actions because he knew what he was doing by having in protected sex. Its mindblowing to me how many adults wanne avoid taking accountability for their own stupid decision making or just being utterly selfish 🤯🤮

No. That is stupid on many levels, including the fact that paternity tests are flawed and not 100%, meaning that you would condemn completely innocent families to whatever accusations, drama, lawsuits or whatever that follows. We have lived our entire human existence perfectly fine without this bullshit. I think we can survive just a bit longer. If you want to know your parentage then get a test-tube baby or whatever.

No. It's an invasion of privacy and the state has no compelling reason to do so. Basically, it's unconstitutional until there is a compelling reason, on a case-by-case basis, to require the paternity test.

like what if the parents gave it up for adoption and didn't want to be parents. many parents who give their kids up for adoption dont want their kid to find them. (thats what i would’ve wanted too tbh🤷‍♀️)

I was under the impression the parents details were always registered with adoption but not 100 sure.
I think the parents should know that their kid is theirs especially because there could be some medical needs that could be met with kin.

If parents give up their child for adoption its usually because they are unable to give the child what it needs. Mostly because of mental health issues, addiction or money related issues. The majority of them are simply bad parents who didn't make good adult decisions before deciding to give birth to a child. Ofcourse there are some exceptions!

Ofcourse they should! Its up to their biological parents if want to keep contact with their children or not, but the child should at least have the right to get some peace of mind knowing who gave birth to them.

We live in a selfish society where everyone thinks its alright to fuck around without protection but afterwards dont want to be responsible for the consequences of getting pregnant unwanted. The children end up to be the victims of the adults poor decision making which is unacceptable

In my country we have a tv show in which adult people are trying to find out who their biological parents are and why they where abandoned by them.

If you would see that show, your opinion probably changes about it because you would be able to see how deep this feeling of wanting to know the biological parents really is. These adults might live yeah, but they suffer all their lives having unanswered questions. Its kinda heartbreaking but some of them end up with a happy end because they find and keep their biological parents in their life once they found them

I would not do a default test but I would do a low cost test that becomes free if the father is found not to be the father since his emotional trauma would be payment enough. It would be available upon request for a standard fee or for volunteer work for those who cannot afford to pay.

Nope if parents want to do it privately then thats on them. It shouldn't be forced onto all parents because some might not want it. Personally id never get it done for my kids

I have 5 kids. None of them have had dna test and our family is completely fine. If a dad is that paranoid then he shouldn't be sleeping with untrustworthy women to begin with

Thats just not comparable. Men often times switch up when a woman becomes pregnant. There's a reason why the leading cause of death for pregnant women is homicide by the baby daddy 🙄 good men don't stay good men when a pregnancy happpens thus creating single moms.
