Does Thunder & lightning ⚡️ bother you?

I like rainy days but this I absolutely dread. I remember this one time I was alone at home and the power went off in the night. I just disconnected my friend's call when all that happened. I screamed as if I've seen a ghost and started crying and panicking. I called back my friend and told him to stay on call for a bit as I'm terrified of darkness and thunder. He was so sweet. He stayed until the power was back on. I want to overcome this fear but I don't know how to.

In 99% of cases it doesn't but sometimes a when i feel the shock wave in my lungs, I think damn it was a close call.

It doesn't bother me. In fact I find thunderstorms to be exciting. I've even got lightning photographs before. There is a special way to do it because you can't be quick enough with your finger to catch a lightning strike by hitting the shutter button. You definitely have to keep as safe a distance as possible.

Funny that there are even people who experience sexual arousal through thunderstorms. I don't take it THAT far though! LOL

our dog used to hide under furniture. yes it's scary sometimes, it's the sound and shock of it. I don't hide, but I have unplugged stuff. I suspect those more sensitive and more sensitive hearing prefer to hide and be safe.

No. I think it's cool. I like watching lightning and I love the sound of thunder. Although I'll stay indoors or in a car and not take chances with lightning if it's happening in the immediate vicinity.
