Since bullying is as bad or worse than sexual assault, why are accusations of sexual assault treated more seriously than accusations of bullying?

I don't know. But last year I was listening to a podcast about bullying. It said saying nasty things to a person is bullying. But hitting that person is assault and battery. When I was being "bullied" they said mean stuff, and did physical harm to me. They also wrecked my stuff. The teachers didn't seem to care either. I got hit in the head right in the middle of social studies class.
there is still the idea tht kids will be kids and that bullying is not a big deal. Then some kid gets fed up and comes to school with an AK-47 and starts picking people off.
Examples of School Shootings Where Bullying Was a Factor
Perry, Iowa (2024):
Classmates of the shooter reported that the 17-year-old attacker had experienced persistent bullying since elementary school, which was known to school officials but went unaddressed.
Vantaa, Finland (2024):
Police indicated that bullying was a motivating factor in the shooting at a school in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
Uvalde, Texas (2022):
Reports have emerged suggesting that the shooter in the Robb Elementary School attack had a history of being bullied, which may have contributed to the violence.
Bullying as a Contributing Factor
Prevalence:
Research indicates that bullying is a common experience for many school shooters, with some studies showing that the majority of attackers were bullied by classmates.

The victim is a woman, obviously. No one gives a sht about boys. Hell, the media (with government assistance) will even change a real event to blame a boy or "the system," for his own suffering.
Both are wicked and should be taken equally as seriously but the dynamic of MALEvFEMALE is an easy way to diminish men and empower women which society has been good at for a few generations now.
Why are we comparing? Both are equally as bad. Victims of SA/rape have committed suicide as well. Both should be taken seriously and looked into.
What makes you say that about bullying. Maybe in extreme cases bullying is worse, but not for the most part arguably. This suicide is tragic, but many sexual assault victims kill themselves too.
Bullying is not worse than sexual assault. Do you think victims of sexual assault typically soldier on through and don't commit suicide (FYI, most do commit suicide or go crazy)? Provided they survive, they're damaged for life. A lot either can't have sex every again or become hypersexual. Few can ever find a spouse and most of their life decisions are not good ones.
That is false 99% of the time. SA can be traumatic, but it usually is over quickly with no physical harm. However, 1% of the time, it is horrible. For example, a young child who is raped for years by a stepfather while her mother looks the other way. Both the mother and stepfather should receive life in prison. A long-term domestic violence victim, that includes rape, and who is psychologically afraid to leave and get help. A brutal assault, including rape with a great amount of physical damage or extreme fear because the rapist is holding a knife to her throat. A kidnapped victim who is raped and living in fear, perhaps for years. Especially what happened to Megan Kanka, resulting in the passage of Megan's Law.
The worst examples of SA are worse than bullying. However, that doesn't apply 99% of the time. SA is usually associated with dating, getting drunk, or some force, no physical harm, and it is a one-time event that lasts 30 minutes. 99% of bullying is ongoing, occurs many times, may last for years, and often results in physical injury.
I don't think anyone would choose being raped over being shoved into a locker
Because of the feminist movement.
