I notice that in modern time, a ton of racist have issues only with dark skin ethnicities. Not only are black people singled out but I see plenty of vitriol thrown towards Indians (particular those of dark complexion). With many people using mocking stereotypes of them and wishing they all be deported back to their country,
Every anti-Indian post that I see now is so over the top and performative like this. You don’t even have to be a good poster in these spheres. 21K updoots pic.twitter.com/84MVJMUPEO

Meanwhile, I see many light skin Asians be referred to as "honorary whites" by racist and I have never seen racist target light skin Hispanics with hatred. Thus, I wonder whether racism today is more generalized and really just white/light skin vs dark skin. With white/fair skin people looking down on people of darker complexion due to their features being furthest away from caucasian.
You will never see racist targeting or making fun of Latin women that are fair skin. You will see them making fun of dark skin latinas and assuming they are illegals or criminals.
